If you want to make ads part of your game, you want them to be seamless. Take a good look at PARKOUR, they used the ads like they were billboards suspended to the buildings, which is probably one of the best places to use ads in.

and games like blade ball that randomly adds them in their lobby obviously make their game even look more of a money grabbing game that made 0 effort to blend it in with their maps, but yeah parkour has a good use for adding the feature to their game

I like the skin idea but what about a weapon that has its entire gimmick be like firing ads at you, like idk can't think of many uses for this but i guess a game like slap battles it would fit right in, like you get hit and you get an ad on your screen but even though its annoying people will just accept it as part of the game because its a weapon

a few random ideas on how to abuse these ads: - add a localscript that deletes the ads on the client so you cant see them, the checks for whether a player is looking at an ad are probably done on the server side but this is an assumption - cframe the ad right up close to the camera so that it is behind the near plane and cant be seen - the option that is the least likely to get you banned it putting the ads in the evil villain scifi dystopia base so that the ads get associated with evil villain and is more likely to be ignored

Roblox has their algorithms and if you're found to be abusing it, they clearly stated in their guidelines that you will be held against moderation actions for it.

Few ideas for Ads placement: Put em on billboards along the streets, bus stops, mayb3 in shop windows, on sides of vans or trucks. Create a TV and have the ad there, change the ad every 10 maybe 15 seconds to simulate the TV broadcast.

Ngl, a perfect game for ads billboards is "Parkour" as it already has fake ads on some billboards, although I doubt that'd ever happen as Parkour Reborn is in paid alpha or beta I think

I wanna make a challenge based game where you and a bunch of ppl are locked in a dark room and killed if you don't do the challenge. One of the challenges will be "look up" and on the ceiling there'd just be an ad. they'll have to stare at it for 5 seconds to proceed to the next room lol

That's against the ToS as far as I know. You can't force people to look at the ads through reward measures... well you can but you'd see your self with some moderative actions.

I have a creative way of using these. What about if you made say like a city roleplay game, you could have billboards like real life, only with these ad gui's, so it makes you money, but it's an immersive way to advertise in a non intrusive fashion. You would put these billboards up far and few between like real life. But is it actually too intrusive though...

Putting your ads in lobby makes the game look like a cash grab. It is better to make the ads a part of environment so if the game has billboards or tvs then you could play ads here. I am not saying you shouldn't put them in lobby but it would be nice if they were part of environment.

I read through some of the comments... I highly advise you guys to read the immersive ads policies before you think you're a smart person to do some "tricky" things. You will find yourself in some issues if you do something like forcing users to watch your ads or for a reward.
