These Exercises are taught in hand first.
Transition from Shoulder in to Renvers improve balance, coordination and Suppleness as well as the reaction of the horse to the aids.
Renvers is in fact the mirror-exercise of the Haunches-In and has the exact same gymnastic effect.
The horse is bended laterally from neck to tail.
Shoulder-In the inside hindleg is stepping under the weight.
Renvers the outside Hindleg is stepping under the weight, center of mass.
