Did GE require you to send a video of you troubleshooting? How did a scale problem develope with using filtered water? Do you think a scale problem would develope using water from a reverse osmosis system?

I sent a video link to get them to stop asking me to repeat troubleshooting steps already taken. As for the scale, we have extremely hard water here. Even filtered, it still contains heavy minerals. So, that is going to happen regardless. I am now adding an additional cleaning regimen with vinegar to help break that down.

@@PatrickMichael2002 thank you for taking the time to answer. What are your thoughts on using water from a reverse osmosis system? Do you think it would reduce if not eliminate the scale (we have a water softener system due to well water)? What are your thoughts?

@@jakethesnake9528 It should help. Same with distilled water. I just didn't want to spend the extra $1.00/gallon

@@PatrickMichael2002 I agree all about the "buying water". Never bought any and like millions of others, I probably drank 9 Olympic Pools of water through the garden hose as a young pup.
