After watching shoutcraft december following the tb plays ladder, after finding out this channel exists. I have to say I really enjoyed the series. Yes please more TB. I may not know who these people were before watching the videos, but I do now Thanks for bringing a game into limelight that I wouldnt be playing without these videos. P.S after seeing these videos me and a friend purchased the game after playing through some coop and to play against each other. Watching TB and (and a little of the pros) play games really helped me pick up on the basic base building and UI tips.

I've come to watch starcraft relatively recently, last year my friend showed me the way with some classic Bomber games, then I watched a ton of TB's 'I suck at starcraft II' series and that was amusing as all hell. Shoutcraft Kings has become a monthly addiction, I absolutely love the format, it's like the pool table at the local pub and winner stays on, only instead of the local bores we've got the greatest players in the world. And we've got commentary which is somehow both insightful and irreverent at once. Nice work one and all.

Rod and Tod are my favourite casters but I have to say TB and Incontrol have just reached the same level of appreciation. They go really well as co-casters. Its almost sad to see players lose because they make really big mistakes, when they have been playing so well the previous game. The last game really showed why you shouldn't try anything fancy if the previous tactic worked so well. Looking forword to Shoutcraft 2017 nonetheless. SPOILER: I don't understand why Stats made a bunch of Adepts in his game against Scarlett. They suck against Roaches, which every Zerg is building and the DT into Archon-build is so much better, since Archons are 1-shoting Zerglings and can kill Roaches in 3 Hits, so they seem very powerful for a noob like me. It really felt like Stats just threw the game for no reason. The same happens in a lot of games when a player who played very well in the previous match makes a noob-like mistage and gets taken out, so they aren't great to watch for me personaly.

Sorry but Stats did not throw the game, Scarlet owned him. Traps like that only really happen from very rare top players, and when they do, they usually work really well. It's not the only game won like that in this tournament.

They give you 2 or 3 possible reasons why he would do that right after the game... Don't forget, these are proffesionals. Every slight mistake they make can immediately end up in a loss, even when it's not a noobie mistake, and even pro's make noobie mistakes every once in a while, especially in a best of 1

I just don't understand why you would ever want to go full Adepts without Immortals or other units to not instantly lose to a few Roaches, because they are only good against Lings.

so anyone else aside from me think cyclone should be just pure antiground? i mean it´s pretty darn good at that so why need extra aa? imo mechterran have already good aa options .. mines accompanying tanks for positional play or tanks with thors or for general mechplay having both splash or single aa modes along with what they have access to for air .. personaly i´m thankfull that terran finally have some sorta light battletank for the early and mid game .. bit dissapointed about no use of collossy, tempests, infestors and swarmhosts ..

I would say leave the cyclone aa, or even slightly buff it. Thors are too immobile, mech needs something to at least slightly make up for the disadvantage against air compared to marines, or else terrans will just go marine more often than not. It's important to remember with balance: your not just competing with enemy units, but also your own for a spot on the field.

The issue is that that then requires the Terran to either play very defensive, or commit to a larger investment in marines that hamstrings the speed of the cyclones. I also like the new cyclone role, but having some even trivial AA ensures that factory heavy openings don't collapse against early air aggression. It's the Terran equivalent of sentries holding a wall against lings. Side note: I miss the righteous purification of blazing thermal lances too, although I'd be lying to say the disrupters don't make more exciting games

Kenneth Fender here is the thing though terran at least have aa on mech as were protoss robo have absolutely none whatsoever .. so if you want aa with you as protoss it´s almost always stalkers or phoenix/voidray ..

MrTBSC once again, terran player aren't choosing between robo and mech, they are choosing between bio and mech. Furthermore, robo is not designed to play straight, they are heavy firepower units that you are supposed to mix into gateway comps, so yes you do have to get stalkers at least, if not archons. I keep hearing this idea that we need to nerf units based on what will make the races more similar. No, we need to make them balanced.
