My favorite additions from all this: 1: The Enchantress was off her game in every story because Shield Knight was actively taking up her mental faculties in terms of staying in control 2: Specter Knight's decision to save Reize was also partly swayed by the idea that he himself was too far gone 3: Reize and Baz are legitimately good friends 4: Phantom Striker is old, possibly ancient given how he talks about everything 5: Mr. Hat stole one of Plague Knight's masks, and despite their argument in Plague of Shadows, indeed owns a hood in his hat collection. 5b: He also has a copy of his own helmet sized to fit over the original one 5c: He somehow stole Shield Knight's helmet too.

Time to tell the character's story in short (or in a nutshell): -Shovel Knight believes Shield Knight is a nightmare, then realizes she's not, and gives him hope at the end. -Plague Knight being the wise guy and wanting to escape, gets forced to fight mona, and then researches. -Specter Knight wants to get revenge against Shield Knight, prevents Phantom Striker to give him the rest, and remembers his words about being twisted forever. -King Knight has shenanigans with Specter Knight, more shenanigans, and something to make the king sympathetic (maybe?). -Shield Knight fights Enchantress, then fights her again, but somehow that wasn't enough to break free. -Black Knight wants to convict Polar Knight, is broken by the latter's words, and despite all that, he decides to protect Shield Knight. -Propeller Knight has a plan, admits to not have said plan (causing Tinker Knight to lose his patience), and gets an high experimental frame test to soar in the sky. -Mole Knight teams up with Treasure Knight, both betrays themself, and they both settle it. -Treasure Knight makes a bet with Propeller Knight, the two fights to break the tie, and gets 75k gems by said bet. -Polar Knight has shenanigans with Shovel Knight, wants him to submit to the Enchantress, and then hopes that the next time he meets him, he joins. -Tinker Knight tries to get Mole Knight's help (but fails), gets pissed when the latter wants his help, and hopes that the Order won't be a force of evil. -Enchantress wants Black Knight to become one of The Order of No Quarter, tries to shatter his resolve, and still wants Black Knight to join her. -Baz ran out of Mr Hat's shop to get a signing bonus with the Order, says that Mr. Hat wouldn't remember the debt, yet he repays that as the latter didn't forget. -Reize wants Baz to be his teacher, is forced to fight the latter, and gets the most dark and sad ending. -Mr. Hat's hat fetish is higher, fights Goldarmor for his/its helmet, and then gets it in the end (despite giving Baz a scold for thief). -Phantom Striker is forced to fight Dark Reize despite being aware that he's not ready, he's aware that he can't save everyone, and decides to find a new uncorrupted champion (as his failures and age took enough tolls for him). -Mona wants to study the Liquid Samurai, shrugs the latter's warnings, and finally gets a sample. -Dark Reize fights his uncorrupted version, fights his uncorrupted version again, and goes to Enchantress to aid her. -Goldarmor helps King Knight, decides to stand against the latter's tyranny, and it turns out to be a dream. -Liquid Samurai gets suspicious on Plague Knight, calls him a traitor for the essence harvesting scheme, and ensures that reporting said scheme to the Enchantress, the alchemists's rebellion would be shut down.

Its a dream/different dimension for all the characters, they wake up once they have destroyed the mirror. (Even if its never explained how Mona took a sample through the mirror)

@@Fresh_Knight Because it isn't a dream. Characters simply brought to the same place they were taken for (Mirror can teleport person to anywhere and from anywhere as was shown in Specter of Torment). Some simply shrug it off as a dream, but some realize what everything what happened was real. Mona can conjure bottles, so she probably just hid a bottle with Liquid Samurai under her robes.

4:46 17:38 Some interesting things to point out between them from their endings. -They are directly contrasting eachother in their end screens -Shovel Knights music and background is ironically less cheery in comparison to the plains theme playing with Black Knight -Black Knight is significantly closer to the tower -Shovel Knight is only now getting into action after waking up, in contrast to Black Knight who is resting in a hero pose after charging through the plains in triumph Feel free to point out some more details

I do notice something to do with treasure knight current boss patern at 22:39 and 25:05 , but I don't know if its intentional. -so the phrase 'Treasure Knight would stay submerged beneath the waves.' might point out that in the Shovel and Plague's event he only have swimming/underwater phase unlike King and Specter's boss fight where he has the dry/out of water phase. -in both prequel event, treasure knight ground slam was kinda weak because he wasn't loaded with golds yet, not until propeller knight just gave him huge prize money (or maybe he got his salary from becoming the order's accountant).

For the Liquid Samurai, at least, it's exactly what it wanted. Unlike the Goldarmors, they seem to be a construct bound to her. As for Goldarmor, I would've hoped they gave the poor guy an "Unless..." at the end and implied he was the one who let Shovel Knight in.

Like instead of appearing to warn the Enchantress, it reappears after her fall and begins plotting revenge. like how at the end of Plague Knight's campaign, you see a group of Liquid Samurai attacking the traveler knights, including Shovel Knight... Maybe have him be in charge of that?

I do like the little story expansions for each character. Kind of a nice send off for each of them in the shovel knight games however the actual gameplay of showdown kinda sucks I think. Kind of a shame.
