Can I just comment on how greatly Yacht Club uses their guest characters? Like, Baz's character is consistent, Reize is an important character, Phantom Striker gets cool banter each DLC, and Mr. Hat gets the be character that basically has stance switching. Most games would make their guest characters, like, a background cameo, but Yacht Club gives them the spotlight and the respect they deserve. (Or don't deserve, such as Baz. If Baz is ever respected in a game he's in, then that's not really Baz, let's be honest.)

Holy crap, great job guys. Definitely making me consider picking up the Trove for my Switch or PS4 so I can play this along with the rest(again, only downside of owning the 3DS version, eh?). This game definitely shows you guys put SO much effort into whatever you make, cuz analyzing these character highlights definitely got me thinking on how to best play the characters(especially coming from competitive Smash Bros). Can't wait to see what kind of genius you guys are gonna pump out in the future! Best of luck in all your endeavors!

Mole Knight, Propeller Knight, and Tinker Knight*, all lack ways to destroy dirt blocks directly below them, making The Plains impossible to complete. Beyond that, yeah, they all could do it. Edit: Mobile Gear destroys dirt, Tinker could do it

Maybe one could mod in the ability to dig up dirt as mole knight by using his digging maneuver and, when he gets out of it, breaking the dirt? It could be similar to how Specter Knight does it in his campaign.

@Keith Pillsbury Wrenches, so far as I know go through dirt blocks without destroying them.

I think I heard somewhere that only Shovel Knight gets a body swap skin. Not 100% sure, though.

I like, that instead of most other Smash Games, all of those characters are actually ones that I can’t really decide which is my favourite. Those are all really great characters. Great looks, neat moves and cool taunts inclusive for every single one of them.

All these characters totally have a qualified moveset to have their own platforiming adventure, it's just that designing unique and challenging levels to each of them will take excruciating amount of work and time. God, thanks developers like Yacht Club exist.

Maybe that's his most well kept secret. I mean, technically Mr. Hat was supposed to be Shovel Knight himself until YCG changed things around. SK was supposed to get the helms of defeated bosses and immitate their skills.
