We have some nasty spring, summer and fall storms up here in Illinois and to keep my bike from getting water logged I carry a piece of women's panty hoes to throw over the air cleaner... still gets plenty of air but keeps the water out.. I usually spray the panty hoe with some rain x or water proof spray and that also helps keep the water from going through.. hope this helps
