Shelly!!! I have missed you!! Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Digger Dave and Pontil Paul, but everything seems brighter when you are along on a dig. I'm glad that it wasn't bad health that kept you away, sincerely. People may think some of us get "too attached to the content makers. What it really is you and your family really brighten my day, especially since lockdown. When are we going to see little digger Bunny again? Boy, she was the cherry on top in the video she was in 2 weeks ago. Just awesome to see your granddaughter showing an interest in the family hobby. God bless you all including mama Helen.

It warmed the cottle's of my heart to see Mr. and Mrs. Beeler out and about making a video for their subscribers. Even though it was our independence weekend and 100 degrees in the shade. You guys aren't getting any younger and working in that kind of heat should be reconsidered. I do love and look forward to your video's, but your health is more important. Your little dump site where the geese come to play looks to be in the shade and as long as your doing what you's love, It's as good as any other site. Please stay safe and God bless you both. Hi Donald....yep, you're right....that always amazes me when I think of the journey those bottles went through from the time they were made, and packaged and shipped, and bottled, and sold in a store, and used by someone, and often reused many times...and finally thrown away. What a story they could tell huh? Thanks for watching my friend....have a wonderful and safe week

Great finds, you guys! I'm finally caught up and wish I wasn't yet. I hope all is well and that you haven't been digging much this month. I'm in central Illinois too and this heat has been brutal. I'm between cars right now and walking to the dump to dig and packing it all home. Too much to do most days. Luckily today's the last one in the 90's in the forecast, so hopefully we're through the worst of that. That's a great Decatur Coke! I'm still looking for my first whole straight sided one. Hope to see y'all back soon.
@ohioartifactdude56584 жыл бұрын
Shoot I think you had a pretty good day. Found some nice bottles and crockery. I say any day you get a straight sided Coke and no heat stroke is a win. I went arrowhead hunting this morning on the Ohio river found a few but got run out it was in the 90s here to. Best of luck and God bless.

Thanks my friend....yea, we are always thankful to find a few nice bottles, especially in the heat of summer. I know EXACTLY how you feel when you get ran out of a good spot...that happens a lot and the hotter it gets the more cranky some people become...haha. Do you remember the old song "Signs" by Five Man Electrical Band? There is a lot of truth in that little song.....the rivers should be public domain and nobody should have a right to run you off....Well, God bless you and have a wonderful Independence Day weekend!
@ohioartifactdude56584 жыл бұрын
@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057 Sorry I should have worded that different. I meant I got run off by the heat. No shade on the river bank. Signs sign every where a sigh blocking out the scenery blowing my mind. Love that song and there is a lot of truth in it. Peace brother.

Dave, the brass/metal rod you showed towards the end of the video, one end is attached to the bottom of a shutter and the other side is attached to the outer window framed. I'm pretty sure. My grandmother had shutters with these rods and she would close when there was a high wind storm coming her way. There was an awful hail storm one fall afternoon that totaled their two vehicles. The windshields of the vehicles were pockmarked or looked like swiss cheese.

Found several of those orange stone master inks here in Town, in an area that was c1885-93. What was the nearby Pohukaina school opened in 1842, closing in the '70s. Bourne/Denby & all. The loads of Hawaiian marble sodas were all broken. Good other stuff. Today & tomorrow-housepainting. I have a "Jack Daniels" type side embossed "Primo Arambulo", Manila I.F.", an early ABM Owens made bottle. A lot of this company's bottles made it here, tooled &machine.

Heat here in Illinois is very warm but humidity not too bad. I would have fainted if I had been in one of those holes in the heat. Shelley, when you have a couple minutes and you're not digging would you consider showing us a few of the pottery shards. I love those also. Dave be careful in that heat.
