Was that a nod to Hurray For The Riff Raff at 1:43? (Little Black Star)

absolutely !!!

Hurray for the riff raff covered that song from a traditional folk song, originally made famous by John Jacob Niles. But Shovels and Rope and Hurray for the Riff Raff are quite friendly and both have mentioned how much they respect the other at their live shows.

Nice of them to play for a deaf audience. That's the only reason I can come up with why NOBODY in the audience is even tapping a toe or bobbing their head. How can you hear this and not dance, or at least tap a toe.
