Wonderful sweater modifications. Really like the granny triangle. Good luck getting your dream Regia yarn.

The finished granny sweater looks great!! The black really helps the colors pop while pulling it all together!! I like the ribbing for the collar and the wrist as well. It adds a nice texture!!

Thank you! I love using the third loop HDC! It is super stable and the texture is always nice!

I absolutely positively love your sweater! You rock it for sure. As far as your sleeves, no one will notice. Beetle Juice yarn is awesome! That mini hank set matches the yarn of that new shawl you're knitting.😊

I don't think anyone would ever know how I did that decrease if I hadn't shown it. THE MINI SET DOES MATCH!!! OMG!!!

I like the sweater! Coming from a person who is not impressed with grannies that is an incredible compliment. Honestly you did an incredible job shaping it.

Tulips are hands down my favorite hooks. They fit my hands perfectly. Thank you for the review 💖🤗

I wish they worked better for my grip. They are really fantastic. I may get a tiny hook and see how I like Tulip doing doily work. I choke up and drop the back more with thread. I was really impressed!

Oh my gosh Carrie! I am a huge Bruce Campbell fan! Loved Briscoe County Junior! Own it on dvd. And I thought the Brady Bunch movies were hilarious, too!

I don't know why I enjoy him so much... It might just be that he always seems like a 12 year-old, mischievous boy in a grown man's body.

Your sweater looks absolutely fabulous! You could make your granny’s smaller for the bottom portion of the sleeves, either by going down hooks sizes or only doing 2 DC instead of 3 in the clusters. I’ve mainly worked my sleeves (granny stitch) in the round, so it was interesting to see your layout in the last video. Have a wonderful Christmas my friend! 🧶💜🎄🤗

I thought about dropping 2 hook sizes but it wasn't really pulling in without a pucker. I think the next one will be better if I do 2 triangles. It will slowly drop the width, but be more of a long slope. I also tested doing just granny rows too but it didn't quite work with how I was doing the bottom and collar. I backed myself into a corner with the inspiration in my head.

Nice job on the cardi! I giggled when you said you wish your brain and you were friends...I commonly say I have 2 brain cells left and some days they ain't talking to each other!
@HappyCraftyHomemaker17 күн бұрын
We were fighting the rest of the day. I was dropping things, couldn't talk to save my life... It took me 4 hours to finish normal routine night stuff that normally takes me about 1 hour... Not the fight I was planning on having.

Hi! Just found you. I’m working on my first wearable. A cardigan. Can’t wait for it to be finished. I’m also just starting out with junk scrapbooking, and it sounds like you’re into that as well. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos. Glad I found ya!

I'm so glad you got the card! I was worried it got lost in post (I've had some trouble with it lately) I can't wait to see what you do with the stamp. The cardigan turned out gorgeous you're gonna convince me to freehand a sweater/cardigan 😂 Merry (early) Christmas 🎄
@HappyCraftyHomemaker17 күн бұрын
Thank you so much!!! I need time to work upstairs uninterrupted... There are so many ways to free style, it is really about knowing your measurements and be flexible. I normally alter patterns, not really free-hand it, but this shape didn't seem to hard to pull off. Merry Christmas!!! I hope you are blessed in the New Year!

Love the granny square cardi. Makes me wanna pull out my ufo & finally finish mine 😂 Craft House Magic in the UK might have those yarns or be able to get them. If not now maybe when they release next year. She’s very responsive to emails.

She has Opal yarns but none of the Regia. I may have to just find a place near hubby's boss that sells it and see if he will pick up something for me.

@ ya, I commented before double checking. I thought she used to carry both. Sorry about that.
