So glad to hear Mr. Pippin is just fine. My little orange man, Julian, makes the trek to my vet on Monday for his annual check-up, and while I have no reason to suspect any bad news, I always get a bit anxious because that's my baby. My birthday is the following day so all the more reason to be hoping for good news across the board.

I do too. We lost a cat suddenly a few years ago from a chronic disease he was born with. So I still have trauma when I send the cats to the vet.

You know how I adore AFW yarn. I actually have some Happily Ever After in my collection and it's gorgeous. Tyler gets such great tonality in his colourways. I am waiting for my December yarn club to ship. Due to the postal strike, it came UPS last month so I got it super fast. Normal Canada Post/USPS usually takes about 2 weeks from western Canada to my corner of New England.

There is a stunning depth in Tyler's yarns! I got this package 1.5 weeks after it was sent. The Southern Skeins was stuck in FL for 2 weeks. They got here on the same day.

I was thinking the same thing, or decrease it in a triangle working into the gap. I love that so many of us think the same way!

Glad to hear Pippen is ok. Arcane Fibreworks is on my list of dyers to purchase from. One of my choices will be My Happy Place. Shipping in Canada is so up in the air right now with the Canada Post strike. Some third party couriers aren't picking up items from new businesses because of the backlogs.

I think they are still getting packages out in Canada. They don't have a shipping notice except to the US where they are using UPS now.

Hi Carrie! Your cardigan is turning out great! I wonder if you could do an insert for the wrist. So do 2 double crochets together across every row until you have one stitch left and then slip stitch your sleeve to it and add your cuff to it. Just a thought. Oh, I wish I could order from Arcane Fiber Works, but all their hanks have animal fibers in them and I'm allergic 😥 I'll just have to live vicariously through you 😄💙

I was thinking insert too. I love how so many of us thought the same way. I really feel so badly for people with wool allergies. There are so many amazing dyers, but almost all use animal fibers.

So I was more of the poet, coffee house goth vs the scene goth. I still wear far more black than normal.
