Show homes are all about the fixtures and fittings. Buyers should try and see past that and bring a tape measure. There isn't much storage when you consider the loft is the master bedroom.

I love looking round show homes, in fact I love looking in other peoples houses. I have no ideas of my own so I try to copy other peoples. I only know what I like when I see someone else’s ideas !!! Xx

What a beautiful home! I live in Norfolk and am looking to move into my first home with my partner in the next couple of years. We’d been pretty set on a new build home as there are numerous associations here to suit everyone’s budget. Recently I’ve been completely put off because of the negative things I’ve heard about them! Totally understand that there will be snags, as with any new house! But people have slated the customer care they’ve received and the resistance they’ve had in resolving these issues.. it’s totally put us off which is a real shame :( Would be really interested to know your experience of the Norfolk Persimmon Homes group if you choose to go for this home!xx

There wasn't a show home to look around but we was shown a completed house that was sold. We'll I hope the new owners were able to rectify all the faults I saw; some were more obvious than others. What with the reviews I read, together with news reports I wouldn't want to buy one.

@@jessicamay_home I apologize then, but the video is called Persimmons Show Home so I guessed you worked for them. I don't own nor would I ever buy a newbuild, but I have seen and know first-hand the bad reputation they have with their houses.

@@joline2730 it’s just a tour of show home that I put together. I used to own a Persimmon house, it was a good one! There are nice stories and experiences out there. Tbh though all new builds are pretty awful and come with lots of snagging 🤦🏻‍♀️
