This video is a show homes online tour UK which shows you around a Persimmon Homes Newton Show home.
If you follow me on Instagram / inside.number2...you will know we currently live in a Persimmon Home (a hatfield corner) however we are looking to move house in the next year or so.
Come with me as we explore the show home on the new Persimmon Homes development at White Rose Park in Norfolk. The show home is The Newton house type which is a three story, five bedroom property. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/diner/living space with utility room and access to the garden, a dining room which could also be used as a playroom or office space, a small cloakroom/loo and a good size living room with a double door access to the garden. On the first floor you will find 4 very good sized bedrooms, one with an en-suite and a family bathroom. Lastly on the third floor there is a very large master bedroom with built in wardrobes, enough space to do your morning yoga and a bathroom. A great idea for this room would be a family cinema space, if you didn’t need the extra bedroom.
The interiors of the show home are styled beautifully, with lots of natural colours. It feels warm and inviting. Persimmon often use their higher spec finishing touches in their show homes, which means the kitchen and other finishes such as the flooring and carpets will be at an additional cost... but from experience of buying a Persimmon home I would say they are worth it, if you can afford to have them.

What a beautiful home! I live in Norfolk and am looking to move into my first home with my partner in the next couple of years. We’d been pretty set on a new build home as there are numerous associations here to suit everyone’s budget. Recently I’ve been completely put off because of the negative things I’ve heard about them! Totally understand that there will be snags, as with any new house! But people have slated the customer care they’ve received and the resistance they’ve had in resolving these issues.. it’s totally put us off which is a real shame :( Would be really interested to know your experience of the Norfolk Persimmon Homes group if you choose to go for this home!xx

Show homes are all about the fixtures and fittings. Buyers should try and see past that and bring a tape measure. There isn't much storage when you consider the loft is the master bedroom.

There wasn't a show home to look around but we was shown a completed house that was sold. We'll I hope the new owners were able to rectify all the faults I saw; some were more obvious than others. What with the reviews I read, together with news reports I wouldn't want to buy one.

@@jessicamay_home I apologize then, but the video is called Persimmons Show Home so I guessed you worked for them. I don't own nor would I ever buy a newbuild, but I have seen and know first-hand the bad reputation they have with their houses.

@@joline2730 it’s just a tour of show home that I put together. I used to own a Persimmon house, it was a good one! There are nice stories and experiences out there. Tbh though all new builds are pretty awful and come with lots of snagging 🤦🏻‍♀️
