Thanks for the vid - I made some notes. Try and answer questions without looking: 1. Tell me how you would check the breaks are working [3] Breaks should not feel spongy or slack. Test breaks as you move off. Car should not pull to one side or the other. 2. Tell me where you would find the information for tire pressure & how you would check the tire pressure [5] Manufacturer's guide. Use a pressure gauge. If cold, check and adjust pressure. Don't forget to check the spare tire. Remember to fit the valve caps. 3. Tell me how you would adjust headrest for max protection [2] Push the button in. Raise until eyes are inline with the centre. 4. How would you check the tires to ensure they have sufficient tread-depth and they’re general condition is safe to use on the road [2] There should be no cuts or bulges. At least 1.6mm tread depth across the centre three-quarters all around 5. Tell me how you’d check your headlights and taillights are working [3] Operate the switch (put it to dipped beams). Walk around the vehicle. Also there will be a green symbol on the dashboard. 6. Tell me how you would know there is a problem with your anti lock braking system (abs) [2] Start engine. ABS light ((!)) should stay on for a few seconds but if it stays on longer there is a fault 7. Tell me how you would check your direction indicators are working [2] Put hazard lights on. Walk around the vehicle. 8. Tell me how you would check your brake lights are working [3] Press brake peddle. Make use of reflection in windows or doors. Or ask someone to help you. 9. Tell me how you would check the power assisted brakes is working before you start a journey [3] Apply light pressure. Start engine. Wheel should become light and there should be a noticeable movement. 10. Tell me how you would switch on your rear fog lights and when you would use them [3] You must switch on dipped headlights first. Two buttons to the side: rear headlights are at the ones facing straight at the bottom O=/=. Use when there’s < 100m visibility. Tip: front ones face down because otherwise they would blind others 11. Tell me how you would switch your dipped beam onto full beam, and how you know it’s on [3] Switch on dipped headlights. Push indicator stalk away from you. Purple symbol € on dashboard -- The Three Bonnet questions -- Open the bonnet by pulling lever near feet up twice. 1. Open the bonnet and tell me how you would check the engine has sufficient oil [2] No dipstick. When oil level is low warning light is displayed on the dashboard (it’s electronically measured in this car but you’d use a dipstick normally and measure between the minimum and the maximum). 2. Open the bonnet and tell me how you would check the engine has sufficient engine coolant [2] Identify the engine coolant on right hand side, it’s like a milk jug. The coolant should be between the minimum and maximum 3. Open the bonnet and tell me how you would check if you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid [2] You can’t see it, it’s measure electronically. If it’s low the warning light will come on ((!)) the dashboard. Otherwise you’d locate it and measure minimum and maximum. -- While driving questions i.e. when it is safe -- 1. Show me how you would wash and clean the front windscreen [1] Pull stalk towards you for a few seconds 2. Show me how you would clean and wash the rear windscreen [1] Rotate the end of the stalk clockwise, putting it onto ‘on’ 3. Switch on dipped headlights [1] Turn light dial all the way to the right D\\ 4. Set the rear de-mister [1] Middle flows button 5. Operate horn [1] Press the steering wheel down 6. Show me how you would desist the front window [1] Left Max flows button 7. Show me how you would open and close side window [1] Front right door buttons.

Hi. Its different in all cars. Some on the drivrts side, some on passenger side. The fiesta has a key to open it

Thank you for this video, just wondering about the show me questions. So when they ask you to show them do you have to pull up on the side of the road or carry on driving as you press the buttons? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

There is no dumb questions. Its actually clever to ask than fail for not knowing. You must show the controls WHILE driving under full control

A minor correction, Mini cooper that i passed my practical test on - had a Oil check dipstick(may be it was not the 2019 edition) , luckily my trainer had showed it to me before the exam... Other than that - Excellent videos... keep it up👍
