Jim Holbrook , I also watch these videos. I was pleased to see in some of them that there were actually painted images on the sidewalk of a person walking and a bicycle. Guess what. There were STILL people driving on the sidewalks and acting as if they should not have been questioned about it. SIMPLE ARROGANCE! I wish there were a permanent cure for this detestable condition.

@3:18 - Yes there is a sign! But, looking at the sidewalk; it has a kerb either side of the walkway. Here in UK if there is a kerb either side of a pathway it could be classed as an ally or a road. Does the road go straight up to the building's doorway? If this is the case, then the second you step out of the building doorway, you're stepping straight on the road where the cars are allowed to drive and park. To me, this kind of road design would be utterly ludicrous. You can see that there is no division between the doorway to the buildings and the sidewalk. This is because the sidewalk is the division between the buildings and the roadway.
