I saw them at the British International School in Jakarta in about 1995. They followed up their concert with an impromptu mini-concert at my mate's house the following evening. Great guys. Brilliant entertainers for more than 20 years.

Maybe this is a more recent recording but... If this was from the Show of Hands self-financed (!) 1996 Royal Albert Hall debut -- and I think it may possibly be (?) -- we were there! We learned of the concert in our London hotel room on a local TV show in the afternoon before the concert. It was such an amazing story that we determined that we had to go, and managed to get last-minute tickets. It was one of the most moving live musical experiences of my life. I even made a futile effort to bring them to the legendary Cafe Communique in Denver...

Oh WOW I saw them do this with Alianza back in 1993, and still have the album on tape. They were fucking brilliant then. As they were too a year ago at Llangollen Britain's greatest roots band. Yes, better than Fairports right now. They're stunning...
