5/16ths is way too big for provided drywall inserts. After ruining the first set had better luck with smaller drywall mounts

Does the board lean directly on the wall on top (12:00 position) or does it remain perfectly vertical and slightly away from the wall? Looks very nice, by the way!
@BrownCastleGames2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jim! Depending on your style of board and feet, it will likely be the feet that touch against the wall. If you pull the 6:00 position of your board all the way forward against the padded brackets there will be a slight lean backwards against the wall.

That epoxy finish is dope (as my grandkids would say) :)

Just wondering how you handle the gliss powder when you hang it up? Or is this more of a permenant display thing?
@BrownCastleGames Жыл бұрын
There is a slight backwards lean against the wall so your gliss powder shouldn't fall out of the gutter. For a cleaner appearance you can vacuum up your gliss powder or stand the board on it's side and brush the gliss powder onto a paper to collect before returning it to your shaker.

We now have a brush + dust pan that has a hollow handle to put your gliss powder back in a jar when you are finished playing. It was designed by Michael Barth from Windy City Crokinole Club. www.browncastlegames.com/products/crokinole-gliss-collector-pan

These instructions don't make any sense. You provide two different types of anchors but you fail to mention which to use for the wall you're working with. You also don't warn against what to do when you hit a stud.

If you check the text instructions under the video it will help you with those details under Step 3. We want to keep things as convenient as possible for you so we include both plaster and drywall anchors. If you are installing the bracket directly into a stud they are typically softwood for framing lumber, so drill a hole with a 7/64" bit and install the screw - no anchors are required. 3. Drill or install anchors. a. Wood: drill the top hole using a 1/8” bit for hardwood or a 7/64” bit for softwood. b. Plaster: use a 5/16” drill bit and tap the plaster anchor into the hole with a hammer. c. Drywall: tap the drywall anchor into the drywall and tighten with a screwdriver.
