Love that you guys also played the game through the review. Nice touch and people can actually see how the game is played. Another outstanding review!

Same here. I have no interest at all in this game, but because the channel is so entertaining, I watched anyhow -- and actually enjoyed the video.

A little suggestion - decorate/design something on back of Your boards. Make it individual, make it Your own etc. Make it someything like GMM blindfolds or just collage of Your top10 games ever.

That's an amazing idea! Thank you!

Even though I don't consider Crokinole a board game, that was a really fun watch 😅 Great idea to play it during the review too!

Great review! I loved that you played it during the review. My brother-in-law and I played this at Origins Game Fair 2024. We loved it! I bought a bundle online (new boards at Origins were sold out and I didn't want one from their open-play area). Definitely expensive, but it will last a long time and get many plays.

Fantastic vid. Still the best reviews on KZbin. I played this at my local convention and wanted one but couldn’t justify the price. But I will. Soon. Too soon

When scoring, you actually subtract the lower score from the higher. So for that first round, JT would have 5 and JG would have 0. An alternate, and I think better way to score, is after each round, if you have the most points, you score 2 points, and if you tie, you each score 1. Then whoever gets to a set number of points wins the match (usually anywhere from 7-11 points)
@branboom3342 Жыл бұрын
Yeah this is the better way to score as it prevents blowout wins. It's how they score in Crokinole tournaments.

Carrooka also well worth a look. Circular wooden board with 6 'pockets' around the circumference. The pucks are coloured like snooker or pool balls, depending which game you prefer. A more fluid and indeed more cerebral game than crokinole IMO.

Yes, I looked at Crokinole and Carrom, but decided on Carrooka - it is definitely the best!!!

I love you guys. Only thing is I think you were scoring incorrectly. I was taught at the end of the round you subtract the total scores of each player and the higher player gets the difference of those two scores.
