I love seeing different notebooks/planners...thanks for sharing!

Hey Jen, I just wanted to share these types of notebooks can be made easily if you have crafting skills. I made my husband a custom size for his check book, graph paper, calendar and file folders for holding receipts and business cards. I learned how from several KZbinrs. My his husband calls it his Man Purse and keeps all his contractors business papers in this handy cover. These style has so much potential for whatever a person needs.

Yay, so excited for this video. I've been obsessed with travellers notebooks for a few months now! I've even started making and selling my own fauxdoris! 😊 I use one regular size fauxdori as my planner (monthly & weekly calendars, lists and a book for my Etsy shop), and then I have another that holds my Listers Gotta List challenge book and my art journal/scrapbook. Then I have a Field Notes size that is my "dear diary" style journal. 😊

I just got hooked a couple of months ago and have been drinking in every video I can find. Yours is one of the best with the so much useful information. I purchased my TN on Amazon and created my own inserts. This way I can make them thinner and fit more into my TN. I currently have 5 inserts and no spillage. Love how versatile these are. TFS

Hi Jen, i work in leather industry, and the "white" on the leather is the "fat" that we put on the leather to nourish it. With the cold of the shipment , this "fat" get from liquidy to "solid" as for coconut oil for exemple! You can improve thé aspect by cleaning with a polish to "warm" it :-)

And Voilà! I love when you use french words, and I love the way you show the Notebook, enjoyed watching the video. I think the Notebok is really fabulous, love the design , the cover, and the way we can personalize the inside papers and notes. But a little for expensive for my pures, but ok, for a gift , a present, it s agood way to celebrate special events(birthdays for example..) Like your Notebook and the way you organized the inside notes, and papers. Thank you for the review&video. Wish you a fab sunday!

Well - you made my day today!!! I've been loving the MTN for a while now and was so looking forward to your review on this. I have the standard size Midori and use it as a wallet (zip pocket, and card slots) and it holds two additional notebooks too. One I use for important 'keep it' type info like birthdays or anything that I want to have quick access to that is a 'keeper'. The other notebook I use as a bullet journal. It took me a while to settle on this set-up but it works well for me and I love it!! Thanks so very much for your video Jen!

That's why I made my own cover (bought the Midori rubber bands) that fits the Field Notes size. I LOVE it!! And I have made my own inserts, too. But to have one of Chic Sparrows--OMG! That is a dream. :)

I take the moleskine to office depot and they will cut them to whatever size I want. It was about a dollar in total to get a bunch cut. You can print inserts from Ray Blakes website. I have the chic sparrow and love them. The beauty of the Midori is that you can make it whatever you want and tailor it to your needs.

I have a beautiful embossed leather cover in an A5 size from bypaperflower on etsy to hold my homemade inserts. It is a beautiful nude/tan color and I've used it exclusively for my work and home planner in addition to all my lists. I keep 6 booklets in mine and the cover is wide enough to protect the page edges. Thank you so much for sharing, I've been looking forward to this video since you first mentioned it was coming.

Love this video Jen, thank you! And thank you for breaking down pricing! I'm in serious need of a planner as I work & schedule clients, intern & volunteer, & have been back in school attempting med the last year-SO Busy! But I'm also a big journaler, always list-making, very creative (love photography, film, acting, art, certified doodler :) etc & haven't been able to find a system that works or a carry all (as I'm gone extremely long hours-I'm so happy to see Amazon deliver laundry soap, pet food and vitamin water every few weeks so inexpensively!). ANYHOW this is EXACTLY what I need!!😃💕 schedule clients, exams, study groups, write notes for home, school, family dates, brain dump things I want to remember but my brain needs to focus on school, and be creative or journal in my free moments....like meditation & an outlet. It's perfect! The cost is relatively significant I'm sure with all the inserts, monthly calendars etc....will def enter the contest. But I LOVE supporting independent and/or locale artisans with such skill and craftsmanship. I've held out on buying a planner forever because they don't meet what would be most effective and efficient for me. And the iPhone just doesn't work-need to see things planned out and really creatively brain dump or journal. And I've been unorganized without finding the right way to keep Everything in one place like this, which ultimately costs precious time. I'm so in love with this! I'm really dying over the Foxi small wanderlust and Foxi regular blue-Gorgeous! This would be life changing. Will enter and keep looking into other brands. Thank you! If you get a chance to will you consider a vid on sites for faux inserts for various sizes? Passport, regular & extra wide...if the mood strikes and you get time. THANKYOU! I LOvE you Jen!

You can also buy something called a fauxdori. I have one made out of vinyl, they also sell them made from fabric. If you go on etsy and type in fauxdori it'll bring them up.

Sorry for the second comment, also easy to make your own inserts for the Midori, and you can buy many others from Etsy sellers, etc. . . This way you can get the paper, covers, etc. . . You want and use and not be locked into something you might not love.

Ive been using the MTN now for 6 months as my bullet journal! It is perfect and I love it. There is a wonderful mad on KZbin that has free printable inserts and can show you haw to take a Moleskin and cut it to fit your MTN or your passport size. Look up Ray Blake and he is so hopefully! If you print out your own inserts, you can save a lot of money! Hope you enjoy!

Hi Jen Great video, I have been a midori travelers notebook user since 2013 another great shop to purchase from is Gouletpens.com their prices are awesome.
