Thank you, Skye! And thank you again for your role in it!

With my math training (heavy on analysis, low on geometry), the only way I'd know how to approach this problem is calculus. It is SO COOL to see (algebraic) geometry doing the same thing completely differently! And I'd love to see you go through the calculus. 😀

Thank you, i will see what I can put together, if there is more interest, otherwise i can publish on a second B-Channel.

The roxy stuff at the beginning nearly stopped me from watching further. But I struggled on because I thought I remembered something like this that seemed wrong.

Maybe a bit too much gain on that audio.

@@sobermathi am too old and rusty to follow through on the following. I am inclined to think that it was a strategic error to use brute force through the formulas with square roots and the quantity s. I would guess that some patience fiddling with diagrams and looking at similar right triangles would have given you a neater solution.

@@christophergame7977 Thank your for your helpful feedback. The big square roots formula was an outcome of using the crossing method. My intention was to demonstrate that it is not a ladderlike curve like the previous videos and the big sqrt solution was equivalent to the quarter circle, which in hindsight was much simpler. I often find it meaningful to show the process of problem solving, including blind alleys.
