Student brought up an article that even ben acknowledged he had revised his views and apologized for(which is very rare for ben). 19 is old enough to be able to kill someone in the military, and is probably close to the age of the questioner. Ben saying he was only 19 is not 100% exculpatory. Im not saying screw ben forever, but the kid successfully knocked him down a peg. At the very least, you can say it a wasn't one sided victory.
