One of my biggest gripes is when people say for Showa “Well he got hit with King Ghidorah’s gravity beams which are said to destroy planets!” Yet we see him blasting buildings and the ground, and the planet is not destroyed.

Well it will take a month for Showa King Ghidorah to turn a planet to a dead planet like it said in movie, so if I calculate correctly, it will take 5 months for Showa King Ghidorah to destroy a planet, that's why the planet isn't destroyed.

There's a pretty easy way to explain this. the aoe of the attack isn't that big yet it is still strong just like in dbz where you have universal+ level attacks hitting the ground yet the planet is still fine that just means their aoe isn't big enough. Ghidorah also might've just surface wiped instead of planet bust but you could argue ghidorah did planet bust because he's above garogu nukes which destroyed a planet (as in planet busting) and even the terror beast in zone fighter see these nukes as irrelevant.

I feel like not many Kaijus can beat Heisei because of his insane regeneration. Dude regenerated wounds after 1 frame in Godzilla vs Biollante and in Godzilla vs Destoroyah he got completely cut in half by Destoroyah's horn but regenerated before even reacting to it. He might have the fastest regeneration of any Godzilla.

Concerning the Super-X2, one thing to bear in mind is in the Japanese they don't directly state the beam was *multiplied* thousands of times over, as much as they essentially said it was reflected that many times more efficiently than a single mirror could. It *could* be increasing the output of the ray, but it doesn't appear to have substantially more kinetic and thermal force. The "Reflection, not multiplication" idea also makes more sense when one considers the fire mirror looks exactly like a real-world retroreflector, which is a type of mirror that reflects incoming light back at a specific point drastically more effectively than a single reflective surface like a typical mirror does. The word in reference to how the mirror affects the beam used in Japanese is "倍率" or "Bairitsu", which is typically used for the word "magnification" in English; instead of the word " 掛ける" or "kakeru/kakesam" which typically is used for mathematical multiplication. Both *can* technically mean to increase something, but the context is very different. If I shot a laser pointer at a reflector which bounced it around hundreds, if not thousands of times, and then shot it back out at a specific direction; I didn't make thousands of times more light than the initial pointer. I just reflected it, spread it about, and then redirected it more effectively than simply bouncing it off one mirror. Considering the fire mirror's properties are noted right after stating the X2 has more resilient armor than the first Super-X, this also makes sense to note as it is basically assuring those presented that the fire mirror can essentially break down Godzilla's beam, bounce it around, and redirect it; which is more durable than simply tanking it X amount of more times.

Cool vid, but just so you know Heisei Godzilla also has some other powers you missed. Such as him being able to discharge electricity through his punches, and him being able to drain a monster's energy through biting them. Heisei Godzilla also has shown very high intelligence, when SpaceGodzilla was able to reflect Godzilla's atomic breath, Heisei Godzilla used it when he was falling or already on the ground, so that SpaceGodzilla couldn't reflect it. Heisei Godzilla has shown this intelligence throughout the series, but another notable moment is when he pretended to be knocked out until rodan got close enough for Godzilla to hit him with his tail. Another feat in durability that shows a direct comparison between showa and heisei godzilla, is that when they were in a fire battle with mechagodzilla the outcome was completely different. In the showa version Godzilla was knocked out with him shooting out a lot of blood. Meanwhile Heisei Godzilla was knocked to the ground for like 10 seconds and then he got back up even stronger.

Heisei Godzilla can fight close range pretty well, just too a lesser extent than showa. Also, Heisei Godzilla is stronger than battra and mothra physically, which would be important considering that mothra was going to divert a planet busting meteor. Also, Heisei Godzilla and showa godzilla get stronger between each film, that's enough to explain the "inconsistency" between biollante stabbing him and tanking his atomic breath times 10000. Heisei would be smarter than showa because of how he figured out space Godzilla was drawing energy from the tower. This doesn't seem like much but he did this before the humans piloting moguera did. To add onto this the same humans had super computers which could process the technology from Mecha King Ghidorah. The atomic breath which snapped off Heisei Ghidorah's head was Heisei Godzilla's full power (at the time). The outcome of the fight was good but I feel like you could've mention a few statements such as both Heisei Godzilla and Heisei Ghidorah are stronger than their showa counterparts as Heisei Godzilla is called stronger in many guidebooks and Heisei Ghidorah is called an enhanced clone of showa Ghidorah.

I want to call out that I believe durability shouldn’t be so one to one all the time. It’s more like the character is more resistant to certain things than others. In this case I believe heisei Godzilla is extremely resistant to energy based attacks however his flesh can still be physically beaten to a pulp or stabbed with physical attacks like with biollante or super mech Godzilla. I’m quite confident Heisei will actually be beaten up and either knocked out or killed by showa. I’d say it’s a similar outcome with legendary as well
