In a memorable episode, there's a powerful conversation between Clark and Lois. Lois confronts Clark, asserting that he is Superman. However, Clark gently corrects her, emphasizing, "Superman is what I can do. Clark is who I am." This line beautifully encapsulates the essence of Clark Kent, emphasizing that his abilities do not define him as a person. It effectively separates his true identity from his heroic alter ego.

This is incorrect however. Women are human beings and men are human doings. Women do not care who you are, day care what you do and how what you do can benefit them. This is called evolutionary biology. Women simply need to be young and healthy for healthy offspring and of course provides sex and help around the house.
@ZeonEons2 ай бұрын
I'm not so sure that rings true. It's a great line but the Kents had always told Clark he was more than that. He had other greater things than just being a farm boy. It was up to him if he wanted to be anything more than just Clark but he chose superman to save others, joining the daily planet under the guise of Clark Kent.
@verisimilitude10102 ай бұрын
The show followed the post crisis Byrne re-telling of Superman’s origin. I think it published in 1987. Before then, even in the 1978 Reeve film, Superman was portrayed as the main personality and Clark as the disguise. It’s up to you to decide what you prefer.
