They actually originally produced Barricade with the logo "to enslave and punish" like it was in the movie. But then Mattel decided that it was a bad message for kids so they recalled the original model, aparrently even turning delivery trucks around before they could be in stores. However a few of the originals did get sold before they were taken off the shelf. And they are selling on ebay for like $200. Crazy.

very cool set. They could have at least given us the Version of the Custom VW with the opening hatch. Big missed opportunity. I like the Bugatti Veyron. Never been in the mainline, so I'm hoping they have some leftovers to add into an HW Exotics for 2025. The Pagani Huayra is my favorite. Looks awesome in red. I won't be after this set, but maybe I pick up the hyper cars. TBH I don't see why Mattel couldn't just added these into a Mainline sub-series. There's nothing particularly special about the cars except the hiked up price. Thankx for the showcase.

The card art is generic and not related to the cars because Paramount owns the designs and Hot Wheels doesn’t have the license for that.

Card art only shows either an autobot or a decepticon. The design (I’m assuming the robot design) is definitely owned by Hasbro / Transformers. If not, how the heck Hasbro gonna produce the toys 😅😅
