How do you make each light independent color?

In the Govee Home app, click on the Spotlights, and right above the color choices, click "Whole Light Management" and it changes to Segment Management, then lets you change individual spotlight colors.

How long is the cable between them ?

I just got the 4 pack set. Is there a way to extend the distance between the lights? Thanks
