Mastering the use of a squeegee tool is critical for glass cleaning because a mix of vinegar, water and Dawn dish soap will keep that glass completely clean and disinfected. What a beautifully well done job!!! 👀ing amazing 🤗

I clean house for a living too and this was exactly what I was going to say! I just spray the shower down and then use one of the dish scrubber brushes you can put the soap in. I put the mixture in it and scrub the whole shower including the doors. Also when we built a couple years ago the guy who made our doors said no soap with the glass doors. Like for showering. Only body wash. I don’t know about the creamier, moisturizing body wash because I don’t use it but it may be ok. I heard rain x but I didn’t think it worked.🤷🏻‍♀️

My husband’s shower has glass doors and he does not squeegee them or wipe dry after every shower, so build up can happen quick. I use super washing soda to clean with. It also works great for getting off hard water and soap scum. And, it’s all natural. Beautiful shower and doors!💜😘

Yes I agree with everyone else regarding the squeegee. Keep a microfiber towel available and give it a wipe down to pick up any area you might not be able to get with the squeegee. My glass installer told me to avoid any products with ammonia like Windex or regular bathroom/shower cleaners. They harm the surface of the glass. He recommends Sprayway or Invisible Glass with RainX. I personally use the Invisible Glass as it seems to make the squeegee process so much easier. Very little water to wipe down. The bathroom looks wonderful!

I dry my glass shower door and glass wall with a towel after every shower, this prevents limescale and drops and is therefore also easy to keep clean. Your bathroom has turned out very beautiful.

I always dry doors off after showing. For deep clean I use household vinegar and micro cloth. The baby is really showing itself. You look radiant. GOD BLESS 🤗

Squeegee, squeegee, squeegee! Minimising water on glass time is key, use it after each shower and it will considerably reduce the cleaning effort required. Vinegar does do a great job on glass but is mighty stinky....I find using a limescale removing cleaner first (I live in a very hard water area, if you don't this may not be as much of an issue for you) then a small amount of glass cleaner with...And this is key...a dry waffle weave cloth/towel. Bathroom looks amazing! Great job Jaylen on fitting that door!

I love the shower doors! The black hardware looks really nice. I use RainX on my shower doors. It keeps the water spots away and the doors don’t fog up. The water just sheets right off. I reapply about every 6 mos.

Hannah I’ve have changed to using a shower gel and find you don’t get the build up of soap on the screen like you get with using soaps,most soaps have fat in them , plus I use jiff once a week on my screen then wipe down with a towel 💯 happy with this method .🌷this is only my opinion .

I use rain-x for cars it will make the water in the shower bead right off! Simply apply after the doors are thoroughly clean and it will last for awhile.

Two tumps up to both of you. CLR Lime and Rust. Just spray on the glass and leave for a while. Come back to clean and it's like magic. It does a great job. My cleaning lady showed me. Hope it helps.

I use RainX shower door water repellant. Apply when new then use squeegee after every shower. Apply every 3 months or so. May not be the most eco friendly but it works. Glass doors are not easy to keep clean in my hard water area. Shower looks amazing.

I’ve had my glass shower doors for nearly five years and we always squeegee them after every shower then wipe dry any leftover droplets with a hand towel. They look as good as when they were installed. Plus it takes less than a minute to squeegee and dry them. Occasionally (maybe once a month) I wipe them down with a glass cleaner. I’m a minimalist so the less cleaner/product I use the better! Your bathroom turned out beautiful!

@@hannahshappyhome my glass shower doors have been in for nearly 11 years. I wipe them off with a glass cleaning cloth after I shower. No special brand, just one I get from the supermarket. They are cleaned with whatever my cleaner uses once a week. I believe you can use a water repellent spray for car windscreens. I have no marks or water stains on them. Hi from Australia.

In my husband's account, but wanted to note that Rain-X for windshields is a great barrier of prevention from limescale and spots. For others with glass doors that have a build up of spots or limescale, use lemon oil for furniture and 0000 steel wool. Let the lemon oil sit for a while to work before scrubbing with the steel wool. It may take a couple of treatments, but it is very effective.

The best advice I can give for keeping the shower doors clean is to use a squeegee on the doors after every shower and clean the doors once a week with a good high quality glass and window cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

There is absolutely no need for any sprays or chemicals to clean the glass or tiles on the walls! We use a squeegee (sp?) to wipe over both glass and tiles after a shower. Every few weeks we use a micro-fibre cloth to rub over; spending time to rub more with any resistance you feel. These micro-fibre cloths are what I use on anything glass: mirrors, windows, glass nick-knacks. I take one damp one to wipe the object and one dry to dry! Great for kitchen cupboards. They are washable and there is no odour and no packaging other than the first package. Absolutely replaces the cost and paper waste with paper towels. Good luck, Susan from Hobart.

Definitely get a squeegie. Use the squeegie after every shower, that you don't have to clean the glass that much. Your husband did a wonderful job on the shower doors.
