Coming from a plumber here something on her valve wasn’t done correctly if all she did was take the handle off and it blew apart there’s usually a pin or nut holding the cartridge in place

Trying to be polite, I had a chick watch a Tiktok for this. She decided it was a good idea to take the handle off. The whole valve cartridge flew out. Water everywhere destroyed her 2nd story bathroom with water damage. Didn’t know where water shut off was. I say this with great passion. Even though you don’t need to turn the water off for this specific valve, a lot of older valves you need to!!! Please explain that next time you make a video! You’re not the only one to make a video like this. No hate I just felt obligated to share this.

The sheer amount of water spraying out half boiling half cold 80 psi at the house straight up sprayed everywhere. You would think the shower drain would help out but It didn’t.
