Showing my son Halloween 4 for the first time!

People ask me all the time if I’m going to show my kids my “Halloween” movies. I always knew the day would come when I felt they were ready, and tonight seemed like the perfect night to give it a shot.
After I put my baby to sleep, my nephew and older son curled up next to me and I picked this ONE scene to start them off... “Jamie’s nightmare scene” in “Halloween 4.” This was a big moment for me and my son made his mommy SO proud! My little nephew though...“wish upon a star” might be a better pick for him;)
The end is the best part, so make sure to watch it through!

2 yrs old or 2 and a 1/2. Halloween 4 was my first horror movie. I remember watching it on PPV when it came out in 1988 and then watched Halloween 5. I watched the original around the same time also. I'm still a fan and always will.

Love this Vid Halloween has been my favorite movie/Franchise since a Kid & now i have kids of my own so every October i get to re visit my childhood with my kids & its the coolest feeling in the world. People that say that Kids are too young for horror movies are so wrong. I watched the first scary movie when I was around 5 I guess bc I had older cousins to watch them with. I was conscious enough to realize it was just a movie and I had no reason to be scared about it when tv turned off. Of course this always depends on the child but looking at little Carter in this Video just reminded me of myself when I was young and found my love to the horror genre that still lives on today. What a special moment. I am one of those people who were raised on horror films from a young age-- I'd be a very different person without them. I always adored them and that feeling of tension/fear. Its so cool you let them watch this with you. I especially love that this seen overall is actually pretty PG. No violence at all. It's a good start! Thank you for your efforts in the franchise, I always respected your talent. Truly one of the greats even from such a young age. I hope we get to see you again some day in the series and if not, you left your mark on all our hearts.

I'm two years late...but this is the BEST thing I am going to see today! Thank you for sharing! I have two older brothers and growing up, they always showed me horror movies from age three and up. Apparently, Luigi is a lot more ready to take on the next level than Mario. I started watching horror movies when I was about 2 or 3, and it was simply explained to me that it was pretend, which was good enough for me. Same for my kids a good number of years later; just recently took my ten-year-old daughter on Halloween to see “Halloween Kills” for her birthday. Here’s hoping that if the studio decides to continue with the films after “Halloween Ends,” they decide to go back to the timeline with Jamie Lloyd in it, perhaps picking up with a reboot sequel that retcons 5 & 6 and picks up with Jamie and Rachael (two characters fans definitely wanted to see more of) as adults 20 or 30 years after the events of Part 4.
