@@XybecsxMyers It wasn't that bad. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers was really bad. So bad, it actually killed the franchise. They couldn't bring back Danielle Harris, Michael was controlled by the cult, he had a baby with Jamie and blah blah. Of the original series, Halloween 5 was the last dark and scary one. The laundry shoot, the car chase, the attic and the barn sequences are easily the scariest moments in the entire franchise. Don Shanks portrayed The Shape amazingly and Danielle Harris had a stellar performance as a child actress. The only unfortunate thing in H5 was how they killed off Rachel Carruthers so early on.

Well they erased her son from H20 so if they can do that they should be able to bring at least Jamie back, it would take some kind of flashback scene, maybe her driving away and leaving Haddonfield with her son as if it were the final act of Halloween 6 and erasing her death at the beginning of it. They could work it like this. Karen could replace Laurie's son in H20 and she could really replace Sarah in resurrection seeing as H20 was high school and Resurrection was in college, erase Jamie's murder in Halloween 6 and do a flashback scene at the beginning of the next movie with Jamie driving away with her baby and she reunites with Laurie and Karen in the next film. That also gives them the opportunity to cast Jamie's son as he would be older now. An alternative would be to ignore 6 entirely and flashback Michael escaping jail at the end of 5 and disappearing until H20, it's all a matter of alternating characters and details. In the meantime Jamie could have been adopted and then later went out to find her mom and reunite with her in the next film. I think a series of flashbacks at the beginning of the next film would be the best way of straightening out the timeline and history, it would require some scenes having to be recreated from the previous films but it's really an easy fix.

She's right though her fans did grow up with her. Because I'm a little bit younger than she is but not by much. I'm 42 and I'll be 43 in February. My favorite movies that she was in his probably The Last Boy Scout although I didn't discover that movie until about a year or two later after it came out. Urban Legends which is really underappreciated when it comes to 90s horror films. And then of course the Rob Zombie versions of Halloween which are really intense but really good

since this current timeline has come to an end (no pun intended) with the character of Jamie, they can maybe do a sequel to H4 or H5 but it would most likely follow up after H4 just bc how disliked H5 was and still is seen as one of the worst of the franchise, that or resurrection is seen as the worst, they could finally make a story where Jamie becomes the new killer like the ending was teasing or she doesn’t take the mantle, they could even say that whole sequence was a nightmare or something

The working titles I chose for them are: *Halloween:* *The* *Legend* *of* *Enda* and *Halloween:* *The* *Curse* *of* *Muck* *Olla* also *Halloween:* *The* *Lord* *of* *the* *Dead.* Enda was the 15 year old boy from Ireland in 522 BC(and was one of Michael Myers previous incarnations) mentioned in the prologue of the Halloween novel. * Muck Olla is the demon that takes permanent possession of Enda's soul also mentioned in that prologue, and "The Lord of the Dead" was what Muck Olla was. He was known as "Muck Olla The Lord of the Dead". He was also the "original" boogeyman. Dr. Loomis seemed to know about Muck Olla in Halloween II. I wonder if there's a character in one of those stories that Danielle could play. Perhaps she could play the role of Princess Deirdre's mother, and King Gwynwyll's wife "The Druid Queen". I think that would be awesome.

Danielle is a nice woman and she should be grateful for such a long career as working in acting you never know where your next job will come and a lot of rejection even for actors who have extensive film credits. With all this said the other day I looked at news in my aol feed and a producer of a current upcoming Halloween film was saying he wanted Danielle to be in it but the director said no.... I am so tired of hearing about Danielle EVERY TIME there is another Halloween film only because she begins making calls and pouting and saying "what about me" she has degraded herself so badly begging for Halloween roles. She begged to be in H20, she begged to be in Resurrection and actually crashed in on the casting session of Rob Zombie Halloween casting and begged to audition... and I am sure there were many girls who could have been selected for Annie but she got under Rob Zombies heart strings begging and so when people say "wait, she had to audition for Rob's Halloween? they are clueless, she is not having her door knocked down and getting offers so than good for her after all those years of chasing the Halloween tail she finally got into both of Rob's films.... THAN when Halloween 2018 happened there she was again AGAIN trying to make calls, putting out in the media and online "How about me?" and nothing and than when the 2 seguels were announced she started crying in a very degraded way about not being the daughter of Laurie in the new ones when her character Jaime does not even exist in the new Halloweens and for her to say but she could be Laurie's daughter now and crying and making calls and going public crying making a clown out of herself when she was not a part of the original film and John Carpenter was rude to her when they met a long time ago and does not care about her. That's how it is.... so this annoys the hell out of me about her. And also she goes to conventions to supplement her income and loves her fans because they pay a lot of her bills. Don't get so emotionally involved in strangers who really don't care about you.... She should just stop begging for Halloween roles, it's pathetic now. and if Jamie Lee Curtis did not turn down being in Halloween 4 so they came up with a whole new story line with a daughter, if Jamie Lee did not turn down Halloween 4 there would have never been a Danielle Harris in a Halloween movie.. she needs to move on ....and Danielle mainly turned down Halloween 6 after fighting to have her role back because they were only offering $1000 .......to her so if she loves Halloween so much.... She stated this and how she paid more than that just to be able to work on it as a minor at the time so that was the main reason why... not enough money. Jamie Lee got paid 8 million just to appear in Halloween Resurrection against her will for ten minutes... there is no comparison between the two... Jaime Lee is a house hold name... Jamie Lee let herself age naturally, I can see Danielle is already getting botox and fillers, cause at one point her face was getting real thin and agy and suddenly looked younger I know the drill, my mom and aunts get that stuff..... But she needs to move on and she is lucky to be working steady even if only on B movies, still better than sitting in a office. She's mid life with kids... she needs to let go of Halloween and if somebody approaches her at one point , great...... but I doubt it..... And about John Carpenter was rude to her, he did not even know who she was..... and she explained John as "cold" towards her, she told him she's an actress and was in some of the Halloween movies, he cared less. The new Halloween series went back to just the start of 40 years after the 1978 movie and ignored all sequels... She was still trying to say she could have been the daughter now that Greer plays, but she was not asked or anything and for sooo many years every time there is another Halloween film she goes wild and starts making calls, crying in the media, crying on the internet and trying to get their attention... this has gotten real sad.... She needs to be thankful for the jobs she does get now and that she was a big part of the other Halloweens and stop this. Kyle Richards finally is back and she didn't go chasing after Halloween production every time there was another Halloween all these years... they went to her and of course she was apart of the original. Halloween 5 failed miserably. Scout Taylor Compton is another one who has been recently crying about not getting a call for anymore. and for one thing if you were in Rob Zombie's Halloween don't expect the other directors to take them too seriously..... just saying.and now Scout started going on how she could have been Laurie in some flash backs and work with Jamie Lee, excuse me, these Halloween movies 2018 and the two sequels are going off the first original Halloween forty years later, we do know what Jamie Lee looked like in her younger years and Scout does not resemble at all.... they both need to stop. and they were both watching 2018 together and giving their opinions like does John Carpenter really care what they think? ..... and bitter and childish about it. Some people still see Danielle as that little girl way back in 1988 but she is a middle age woman ....When you see a 44 year old in your office do you think of her as a cute little girl? people grow up and age. I see her a lot saying "I still look the same" not really, I mean I can see her resemblance like anyone else when they were a kid but the same? no. You take any other 44 year old and you will not see them as you did when they were 12. She looks like a forty something year old woman, she is not that 12 year old any longer just like none of us are.

@@juanvasquez356 I thought Scout did pretty good but kind of annoying but Rob made her character that way... She did act really scared and stuff so she did okay as Laurie but she is no Jamie Lee Curtis. Danielle did great so natural at this. I have to admit some of her lines were cringe worthy such as "Laurie you need a boyfriend" and "my dad is a sheriff so you better climb back under that rock" but the zombie movies were written so trailer trash like so she did not have much to work with. But all in all Danielle did the best of all of them in Rob's version. . In my opinion Danielle lowered herself taking her shirt off and acting like one of Rob's trailer trash characters for a smaller part she fought for but some times acting is tough and she wanted to work.... all this gave her though was a string of B list horrors with very low budgets and very obscure releases but like I said, better than sitting in a office. Maybe being in Rob's Halloweens was not the best career move, Scout never even got big from it. Just a bunch of obscure b list movies and a couple small roles in decent films in the past but Scout hasn't made it big either..... some times you are judged for the types of movies you choose. Robs films were not exactly top of the line movies. John Carpenter cringed at them. Danielle has been so underrated for thirty years. But she has some big movies and she was in her prime at the time of Rob's movies...

This trilogy is its own timeline, JLC & JC were glad to scrap the brother/sister timeline which was not originally intended, Danielle's appearance would be too distracting & confusing for some, and I totally love Judy Greer as Karen, I also love Danielle tho, a little cameo in Ends would be nice but not necessary, I trust these guys to fulfil their own vision of the story approved by John Carpenter & Jamie Lee Curtis! Daniel Harris said that she didn't think Halloween 2018 was that good. This is coming from someone who starred in rob's failed reboot Halloween movie that bombed in the box office. Most of her movies r low budget movies that r garbage. I just watched redwood massacre 2 and it sucked. I did like Halloween 4. I'm a big Halloween fan. I like Daniel as an actress, it's just that her movies suck.

I personally don't think Halloween 2018 was all that great. It was decent, but a lot of it was very meh to me. It just didn't feel like a satisfiying reunion between Laurie and Michael. Regardless what people may think of the brother/sister angle in the other films, H20 always had the more satisfying conclusion, and how it dealt with Laurie's trauma was better executed imo. It's a satisfiying conclusion, as long as you ignore Resurrection's existence. I'm hoping Kills and Ends will improve upon 2018. I can't wait for Kills in 2021.

Rob Zombie's first Halloween didn't bomb at all. It still has the record for the highest Labor Day weekend gross. I'll admit the 2nd one didn't do nearly as well but I don't think it lost any money.

Her Halloween days are done, the fact she contacted them is telling, H4 hasn't aged well at all, but it's not that bad, H5 and H6 are complete trash and the whole curse of Thorne and cult thing was so stupid. I understand she has her fans, but she needs to let it go. This franchise is hopefully done after Halloween Ends.

Looking at Halloween ends... I’m expecting to see her but im keeping it low for my expectations but I do expect to see her final return to the ending of this franchise. Michael Myers needs to be hellraised.

@Kipp John K - I also disagree, even if her halloween days are done, I think it wouldn’t hurt at all that she can return for one last role in this franchise due to how it is coming to a closure.

@@deadcampus Halloween 4,5,6 and the Rob Zombie's Halloweens really didn't add anything to the Michael Myers/Halloween mythos that was really enjoyable or good. Sure it wouldn't hurt, but I honestly don't think the producers and movie execs really care or want to pursue her. I know they asked Paul Rudd to return to play Tommy and he declined, but I think that was largely due to the fact it's Paul Rudd and he would put more butts in the seats. If they do, it will be a blink and miss cameo.
