The eggs do seem quite dry do your eggs typically have that super deflated look? The incubation medium might need more water potentially. On the topic I prefer ultra most of the time but some monarch combos I have liked a lot were the phantom something monarch, the sn clown monarch, and the ghi monarch. Some monarchs almost look more like a normal which is wild to me not sure if it’s peoples photos or whatever. My monarch girl is super rich and I really like her colors for all the reasons you mentioned. Just going to work select projects with her as my base.

Yeah I typically add a lot of water since I use easy hatch trays to separate ad a medium and I cover each box with glad wrap before putting the lid on. Only ait exchange is 4 little holes on each side. I guess that one just didn't make it sadly😕 The other 2 small ones are good however it seems. They both shed, ate and passed urates and poop so I think they will be fine. I like Ultramel too but to me Monarch takes the cake. In the end they do very different things in combos. But if a monarch looked even remotely like a normal in a picture that would definitely be a bad picture if not more likely an incorrect listing that perhaps they ment to say Het Monarch on. Those colors are unmistakable for sure. Good luck with your projects as well btw! When you start hitting some things send them our way on social media we love seeing it!

Nope if anything a little later. Just bad luck however the 2 little ones are doing fine now.
