Yea I’m with man. This whole release just doesn’t make sense. Like I don’t understand who’s in charge over there but I do not get why they can’t just make easy obvious good decisions. It doesn’t make sense.

I'm really tempted by the new gitz minis nor sucumed yer lol. If I do, I'll probably pick up a couple of the snarfang units also to get started with them. I do think some of their rules are a bit meh, but their gorgeous models also I'm conflicted

I really think they should have waited at least a year before releasing any battletomes. And the tomes should build on the indexes, like add new formations, lores and artefacts

My only real beef with the book atm is that the army rule encourages souping but all the subfractions still care about keyword spam. They don't even have Badsnatchers anymore, I wanna take a mix, man.

My big issue is the Spearhead. Rippa's Snarlfangs are just not a kit designed to be in any way heroic. Rippa doesn't sell himself as a General, his model is tiny, it has less bling than the regular Snarlfang Riders - and here he is put in charge of the Snarlfang Cavalry, which is fully decked out! The Spearhead should've included the boss chariot. And I don't just say that because I wanted to have Grom the Paunch leading my Spearhead army... And at least that way, the Spearhead would've included a dual kit - as it is, all included kits are fixed, with barely any options (aside from swapping riders from one wolf to another or swapping iconography and wheels between the two chariots). There is no choice in assembly, unlike almost every other Spearhead has in one way or another. Dump 3 Cavalry, put in 5 regular Snarlfangs and swap Rippa for the chariot.

As amazing as the models look, I find the entire launchbox to be absolutely absurd. €180 euros ($230) for 9 models a book and some cards? Someone at GW must've been smoking outdated crack or something when they came up with that pricing.

Yup, an army filled with goblins, troggs, spiders, and lots and lots and LOTS of squigs...adding wolves is just kinda dumb. Slap that insane price tag on a box of nine models and it's outright laughable.
