Are your colonies off heat now since its winter? Do you hibernate them in Arizona or do they stay at room temperature?
@AntsFlagstaff Жыл бұрын
No, most AZ species don't need to be taken off heat. For AZ species, it depends heavily on species. Most camponotus species you need to but camponotus festinatus you don't need to,. It really depends on species.

Why not just by apple sauce and dilute with water?
@ColdBloodedCreaturae Жыл бұрын
Apple sauce isn't very nutritious and a lot of the times has additives.
@AntsFlagstaff Жыл бұрын
I don't use Apple sauce, Because well what ColdBloodedCreaturae just said. Apple sauce gets processed and gets Additives put into it. I get freshly picked apples that have been grown 100% naturally also USDA approved. Although apple sauce will most likely not kill the ants but you never know and I like to keep things as natural as possible. Being natural as possible is also just more healthy in general.
