@@lokai765 fighters esp pdr fighers, you gotta wittle them down or use lantern/explosive bottle for magical damage. If you keep trading blow for blow, that's a skill issue.

when you play solo use survival bow and spear also put on forceful shot + quickshot. increase move speed too, but yeah in trios he kinda sucks

I think ranger has been bad ever since they took +damage off all pieces of gear, also no more 3 shot with longbow. (it was stupidly OP when all we had to build was STR, AGI, and +damage). I think building a bit of PDR and STR with spear is underrated though.

Tbh I been playing ranger and I got to pathfinder solo I do have to say fighting fighters / barbs is rough but forcefull shot rapid fire is definitely the way to go Also longbow + tons of dex + str gear so expensive to actually hit hard

as a ranger if you have 3, I mean 3 not 1 but 3, ranged weapons in your inventory you should never go near any of your enemies, I mean just play the long game, sustain damage dont try to one shoot in melee range

Yeah, that's the problem with shotgun really. It feels great when it hits and enemies will call it OP when they lose 100% health in 1 second but It's inconsistent and leaves you in the worst possible position if you miss -One arrow at best, Close range with a bow out, probably not full health and enemy already swinging for their second hit on you. It's why I stopped using it.

You know what might be interesting though? Forceful shot + Shotgun. -I've already tested and sadly the knockback does not stack to send people flying across the map BUT.. in conjunction with a survival bow, Kinaesthesia, and a bunch of true damage? You pop your forceful when they get close, you pop your shotgun, you hit em with a bunch of arrows and keep em back with further fast shots if they survive, which tbh they might not unless they're 180hp or high pdr, in which case just kite longer. This is all just theory, of course, because who'd be MAD enough to test something so ridiculous?

If you use your shotgun and cancel it'll reload 5 arrows for your bow.
