Great video. Like you said there are alternative methods for this type of diagram. Here's one: 1. Bring your 3d model into a rendering program. 2. Render a clay or white model image, with no materials. 3. Render a line drawing using the same camera angle. 4. Bring both images into photoshop, and set their layer modes to multiply. 5. On a layer (s) beneath, add diagram colors. 6. Add additional profile lines/ scale objects to taste.

Thanks Henry! yeah, very similar to the second method haha. Only thing is, all things color, text and vector related I would do first in Illustrator and I would only use Photoshop to mix with the clary render and add grain and other details!

@@ShowItBetter I don't know if you've ever used Affinity Suite, but you can basically make pixel edits in their version of Illustrator and Publisher, since they will basically open not-photoshop in app, without having to resave and link. It makes things much faster to do with pixels vs vectors.

@@ShowItBetter the Affinity Suite is Photoshop, Illustrator, and Publisher clones. They are so similar to Adobe that most of the UI and default hotkeys match. The upside is Affinity is non subscription. I've been using it for Archiviz for years now, and never once missed CS suite.
