"Nobody does corners as well as Holly". Well done, girl!

I like your coaching that you're getting Holly!! The man knows how to keep you accountable for how you place your horses to a fence. I LOVE that!! Making you count out loud, with such a long striding horse, is quite a difficult question to ask. To keep them contained enough and working off their hocks properly will make both horses last longer for you in the long run. I also appreciated the fact that the jumps were like doing gridwork. High enough that the horses had to watch their feet, but low enough that he wasn't wearing put the amount of jumps a horse has in them. Well done, Holly!! Great lesson for all of us to watch and learn from!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦

I love the counting out strides. It really seems to help keep you focused on what you are doing. And hey! All the big boys and girls do it! You make it look easy but I know it is not. I'm also sure you do it to yourself sometimes too but talking it out loud seems to help the most. You and both boys are like metronomes, steady and confident. Although I'm always amazed at how well you ride, it can never hurt to learn a little more. We are always learning with horses! Well done all around!

Thanks so much for sharing! What a great lesson! You are so much fun to follow. Such an accomplished rider and horsewoman. To think you were just backing those lovely horses it feels like yesterday!! It is so refreshing to follow your show season and see how positively you handle the little hick-ups that are always expected when jumping at the upper levels. You are fierce Holly!! 💪🔥

loved this video Holly!! the coaching was amazing and we can all take a lot from this. nice to see a little bit of your dad he's the best! seriously need him in more videos if he's ok with that of course. was going to comment on how you said in you're last video people being mean about you're riding.. at least you notice there is a problem and you are trying to fix it! I personally think you're a great rider and you care for your horses so much. keep it up and you will get there in the end you should be proud of yourself for persevering :) would love to see how you get on with you're friends young grey you were breaking in and going to take him to a few shows? can't wait for Wiggy's first show in however long!
