"I'm quite the inexperienced rider" What the fuck ever! You are at POYS and I could only dream to be there.
@nevecleland668610 жыл бұрын
I agree how can u be a POYS and be inexperienced!!!!

I don't know what she thinks is an experienced rider then. She was probably just being modest
@shaunalinay287710 жыл бұрын
I think she was being modest and was also comparing herself to the other various riders there as well lol

Emily Ward you are my inspiration and I started to jump because of you! Thank you for inspiring me! You're awesome! ;)

Rex888dA One: I don't think she's a bitch and two: I also think that she is an inspiring person. How is that your problem?
@Zebra-dogs9 жыл бұрын
lucy stephenson Someone that treats others as dirt shouldn't be an inspiration.
@missmysticfalls32289 жыл бұрын
Rex888dA Well, I mean that she inspired me to start jumping.
@Zebra-dogs9 жыл бұрын
lucy stephenson Please don't do what she does though... Her horse has no neck muscle because she forces it's head up in the air and her equitation is terrible...
@missmysticfalls32289 жыл бұрын
Rex888dA Yeah I know. Well, my cob is very strong so even if I tried raising his head, it wouldn't work. I agree with what you said though.

Anyone else feel like a bad rider when you see kids younger than you jumper fences bigger that what you jump??
@dieginny31408 жыл бұрын
Bigger fence doesn't equal better rider! There are people that are able to jump fences taller than themselves, as long as they have a horse that does all the work on it's own, but if you put some of these people on a nervous horse that needs to be handled with care, knowledge and lots of empathy, they suddenly look like beginners. What makes a rider great isn't his ability to chase his horse over fences, but the ability to understand the horse and communicate with it flawlessly! The best riders I've seen were never the showjumpers und dressage riders, but the ones who managed to turn an easily scared, ill-behaved and disrespectful horse into a happy, gentle and absolutly bombproof horse. If you succeed in being an understanding human being, than i'm sure you will succeed in being a good rider too :)

@helenweeds151710 жыл бұрын
The ponies do all the work. If parents can afford to pay for good jumping ponies, it doesn't matter who rides them. Put them on a riding school pony and that would be a good leveler.
@rupertbunyip10 жыл бұрын
I would have to disagree, good jumpers are notoriously hard to ride, they are often strong and fizzy as well as many being buckers and head-shakers. These are some really talented young riders.
@ainsleystewart271810 жыл бұрын
I have to say that it is mostly the horse but, the rider needs to be able to control these hotheaded horses. But it's like 75% horse 25% rider
@kodeymartin49416 жыл бұрын
Disagree! Put an amazing horse in an arena and tell it to jump that exact course,will it do it no,who does it the rider along with many other things!! But the horse does do some things too
@teddybear57883 жыл бұрын
I hate when people believe this. Put a bad rider on them who does all the wrong things and they wouldn‘t get past the first fence.

These are some great riders! However, some of those girls need to wear a hairnet. A ponytail can be alright in lessons, but it just looks sloppy and unprofessional in the show ring. George Morris would be shocked to see at this level, girls with their hair not under their helmet. I hate hairnets but I have to always ride in one at my barn.(this is my dad's account btw)
@ThatAwkwardEquestrian9 жыл бұрын
You don't need a hairnet in the showjumping ring. You do need one in the hunter ring.
@gracedwyer17219 жыл бұрын
That Awkward Equestrian She isn't saying it's a rule, all she is saying that she thinks it looks unprofessional compared to a hairnet. To which, I agree, especially at this level.
