Tarkov is unrealistic trash with terrible AI and tiny maps that outside of the indoor areas look absolutely god awful. So I have ZERO clue why anyone would want GZW to be like Tarkov. GZW is shaping up to be what BSG originally promised Tarkov would. So if the early 2016 trailers and dev blogs where why you play Tarkov, then you'll finally get what you were promised - with GZW. If on the other hand you got into Tarkov because you like "loot shooters" and saw a streamer bunny hop while hip firing a mall-ninja M4, then stay on Trashkov and have fun slurping up whatever scraps BSG throws at you

sick video. Can we banish the term "GAMEPLAY LOOP" and just say gameplay :) . The word loop is disgusting, and reduces the game to a series of repetitive actions, and ignores the importance of immersion.. just an idea

I agree, but at some point the menu is gonna look the same and the animations loading in will be the same, even if the experience is different each raid, that’s what I mean by loop. Just starting the game.

i love tarkov but the only problem with it is disconnection due to packet loss and high ping. Have good internet but tarkov is only game where ping spike is insane. so i am also waiting for gray zone.

Great video, only thing im gonna say is focus on a higher quality editing style. Whether you straight focus on that for now so when the game fully comes out or you get a editor, so ur ahead of the rest. You have the voice for it. Im also well aware that theres little gameplay out so it can be hard to use that for a broll type thing.

I think if people pick this up expecting it to be tarkov, they will be disappointed. The feel of tarkov is what makes it so great, the clunkeyness, the feeling of gunfights, the sounds of someone lighting up a scav from across the map, everything. its not replicable. That being said im looking forward to grayzone as a different game of the same genere and i hope its amazing! But truely i dont think there will be another game that makes my heart pound like killing a juiced level 45 and hobbling to extract with nothing but your head, chest and a dream.

Agree, tarkov is the best FPS experience I’ve ever had. Very intense moments. I think the fact that there will be fewer PvP opportunities will make the actual PVP hopefully pretty intense as well in GZW. But overall I’m pretty excited for the story line and missions too.

in tarkov, i argue that it is a squad game. the cost of solo play is too high. in the end its the class based role ready play of gray zone will win me over. healing teammates, providing cover fire as a support, vs sniper.

What do you mean by "you have to unlock maps in tarkov"? AFAIK its only labs you cant play immediately, but you dont need to unlock it, you need a keycard.

I cannot play all the maps with unlimited time. I have to pick a map and be confined for now to that map. That’s what I mean by map lock. You’re confined to the map you select.

note: tarkov is not map locked you mentioned this multiple times, the only map that is locked is labs which requires a keycard to enter, not level. edit: the new map is only available to players up to level 20 after 20 you cannot play it, for new players to learn...

Map locked by raid, not selection. You can only play one map at a time for now. Not locked behind the keycard thing. I meant constraint really. I can’t play shoreline, customs, and reserve in the same raid.

Do no, if gray zone warfar forces you to play on squads only, will be really bad... I want the game really badly for reassons that tarkov refuses to work properly out... Tarkov is much more hardcore than realistic nowaday, for a really far distance... Soo, i'am not exactly the most accuratte fps player, and Tarkov not let me play with weapons i want, or how i want, because of missions i need to do shit strats all the time, and die mure more often than i do if my only goal is survive, when i did only survive goal, i got about 80% survive rate on a wipe, but now i try to force myself play doing shit to unlock shit to finally use shit and all this lets me a 40% survive rate, even with the new recoil system that is great, i hate how limited flea is those times, is almost useless you just get bad ammo and bad weapons, why? why you need to find good shit on raids only? GOD, who knows how to play the game properly already will have those shit in tons, bad players as me and others only will have access to those stuff from flea... I have 1k hours of tarkov and never tried kill a boss, because they are insane health sponge bullets and aim bots... the most i have encounter is killa and god, that dude not die, simple as that, i land one time 17 bullets before he just land 2 bullets on me, well, you know who wins right? him, that is stupid

@@Show_XR soo, players mostly will play solo and duos, the reasson people not play squads that often, is because no ones really have enough friends to play the same game at the same time all together... Some has stuff to do on monday, others on thusday, others on friday, even streamers has trouble to play in squads... But did you see when a full squad runs tarkov in tatical mindset? Is a entire other level of playing... Soo, maybe today most tarkov players are solo chads or solo rats, but the game was designed to be squad drived, or at least they tried and when people play on squads, is a insane other level experience

@@Show_XR nice, even more if the people playing with you want to play tatically... i most of the time play only with a single friend that really can't communicate properly, soo, time to time we both die because of miss intel, also we both has bad aim... seriously, aim in real life is easier than in tarkov... i have some local gun medals and always get well ranked in even entire country wide competitions, but on FPS games, naahhhh, all the way we aim in games is really bad for me, and the mechanic of hold breath not make any sense compared to real life, only really few peoples do that nowadays in some specifics situations, soo, kinda odd you put your eye on the scope and start holding breath to make shots at 5 meters of the enemy LOL

​@@Show_XR Red Orchestra, Rising Storm, ArmA and Ground Branch have vastly superior and realistic weapon handling/ballistics. The only thing Tarkov does right from a realism perspective are the weapon and attachment models.

Okay, name a game that’s more realistic in terms of weapon ballistics, attachments, armor, gear, player movement, map detail, etc. Yes, no game is exactly like real life, but Tarkov is literally the most realistic in terms of basically everything when it comes to shooters.

@@S1lentIntensitytarkov is highly detailed with the ballistic, but what kills the realism is the fact you have to empty a magazine to kill a player if your ammo is « low tier » and your armor opponent is « high tier ». IRL, 2-3 bullets will kill someone event if he wears a high class armor, or he will be severely incapacitated. There was a time where tier 1 mosin could one tap even the highest geared players in the chest, and streamers whined to that, saying that the diversity of armors would be pointless. So BSG shifted to some RPG mechanics approach, and you end with situation where the odds of winning a fight is strongly conditioned by what people wears. Even Nikita knows he can’t mimic the true reality because it would be one tap fest IRL. Last wipes, tarkov was and still is a proper hardcore FPS but shifts to an RPG (gear matters more than skill mechanic) in late wipe where you people equipped with low tier equipment are destroyed by the ones wearing better tier equipment even if they are the ones caught off guard.

The new wipe changed all that, all ammo is now incredibly dangerous and armour tanks way less.

I understand what your saying/ agree with a lot of what you said there, but if you've been playing you should know that armor has been a lot less reliable this wipe, and there are tons of people using "shitty" ammo and getting away with it much more often, including my self, due to the hitbox changes.
