This was a solid interview--a nice blend of personal and policy (for the constituencies likely watching this). As a lawyer, psychologist, and professor who has written about political ideology and voter decision-making, the truth is most voters don't vote based on policy. They vote based on feelings and how connected they feel to the candidate. For those who wanted more hard-hitting policy questions, what was reasonably missed for the ATS viewers? Do they want to hear about how to create peace in the Middle East or border policy? If you want deeper analysis on policy, more journalistic outlets are probably best for that. The choice is clear in this race on values and policy. Harris-Walz 2024!

It's sad that a number of people woke up this morning, seen there was a video of the possible leader of our country having an adult conversation in an environment we don't normally see politicians in, and downvoted without watching a second of it. While they were probably the same ones drooling on themselves when Trump was on Adin Ross's stream with XQC. Not caring how obnoxious, out of touch or tone deaf it was, and how it was just rich people flexing their money around. This country is in a lot of trouble, because we can't even agree or see eye to eye on what was so simple decades ago. It's one thing not to like Kamala, but to not like her and to think Trump is the right guy to bring this nation forward is pure delusion. It's like people want to be duped, lied to, misled, as long as it confirms their biases, hatred and ignorance. We are flushing this country down the toilet at record speed because nothing is honest anymore. It's all hyperbolic rhetoric that is only causing divisions that are coming to a breaking point.
