+natejones5 why not? that shows the dedication and commitment to continue the legacy. Do you know how hard it is to master the sticking and most importantly the dynamics that makes the section legendary and is the secret to the Famu sound? I commend this group.

+Brian Forbing respect. I just didn't want to believe that a section with as much history and tradition as this one is now resorting primarily on KZbin for its continuity. It's more than just sticking and dynamics. I'm sure that it's not this current groups fault, but at this rate that'll all be a thing of the past soon.

+natejones5 yeah. its good though. The university had taken a hard stance against ANYONE who marched prior to 2011 to have contact with current students. That is slowly changing. I was able to work with the cymbals indirectly because of a personal relationship with one of the current cymbal players. It is getting better. Now more important than ever we need to strategically recruit to maintain instrumentation and build.
