I LOVEEEE the GG style...very raunchy..but just like being graceful...classy or e energetic..raunchy is also a style. They have the hardest and most intricate 8 counts of any hbcu. Look at the counts during the battle..no squad comes close...they ate!

it's simply a dance style. Most bands use Majorettes however Alcorn State created Dancelines for Marching Bands in 1968 called them the Golden Girls. Since then more HBCUs and High Schools have implemented this format and their own style with their bands so it's a huge among our culture here in America.
