I hope I don't come off rude when saying that this is probably the most overengineered wood shed I've ever seen, and I love it. The craftmanship is just phenomenal and is probably sturdier than the building behind it.

Where I live we get Cat 1 and low Cat 2 hurricanes. The tail-end of those from the gulf of Mexico even-though we are 1200 miles north from there. Every year we get 190+km wind and almost monthly we get 100 to 120km winds. Always windy here and a calm day or even a few hours of calm becomes the talk of everyone. As we say here,,, you could tie a ship off of that woodshed!!

The layout skill involved is pure art as is the craftmanship and command of your tools. The excessive use of caulk on the small roof may help hold moisture from drying out after a soaking rain and therefore causing root. Rain never only falls straight down. Therefore, the roof is more decorative than practical. Overall, it is beautiful project.

My God, you are Amazing my friend. I have a question for you, Sir: Have you seen young people in Japan, taking up the Trade skills? I hope I'm not going to much with English here. I'm learning about Japanese Demographics and I'm concerned about the balance of retirees and young, productive people. I've always loved and been fascinated by Japan. It seems as though every minute of every day, the people are consumed with achieving perfection. Just Amazing. Your skills are just the most incredible to watch. Thank you Sir! Have a Blessed and Peaceful 2023.

I've watched most of these several times and love each one. Beautiful work and such great attention to detail! The mark of a true craftsman is to make the amazingly complex seem effortless and easy. You sir, are a true craftsman. I wonder though, what is the name of the multi-bladed saw used ot cut the tenon/dovetails, at about 7'11"?

A beautiful woodshed indeed! It tickles me to see you sanding the timber, this would be a step too far for most western carpenters :) Oh and that machine for cutting tenons and dove tails is incredible, it makes cutting them so easy but very scary machine for sure! Thank you, you are very good at what you do and it is good to see you work.

Yep, the biggest differences if noticed from watching thease videos is you can't rush it. Instead of screwing flimsy processed wood, sheet metal or plastic together. Everything is made perfectly to fit together like a peice of art. Only then do you used screws or nails to reinforce, or Fasten down what needs it. The end result is a beautiful peice that will last for yrs.

Thank you Sir! What a pleasure that was watching your process. I learned some valuable tips . Your wood shed is beautiful and will last a few hundred years if cared for. Modern building techniques used today are good for at least a year before they need more costly work done. I see a world where we will all choose to do our absolute best like you do, because the wood and the project deserve that respect. I see you share this respect. 🙏🇦🇺
