It's not a secret that you can talk with Terrence on five dried grams in silent darkness. He was and in a way still is pure manifestation of love and understanding

When I first found out about TMK which was years into my exploration with psilocybin, I had an experience like that. I was in the woods by myself at night on a large dose (I didn't even weigh them back then just threw a big bunch down the hatch.) I could hear his voice narrating all of the weird thoughts and describing the visuals very rapidly. It went on for awhile and I just yelled out loud "Get out of my head Terence, this is MY roadshow!" Haha. Very thankful for the fungus, for Terence and Dennis and Shpongle!

I've played the guitar for more than 35 years..and perhaps about 15 to 20 years off them on a rather 'intense level' (as well as other instruments and singing). So I guess you could say that I'm somewhat a so called 'Musique-snobbe' - or at least that's what I've gathered many others believe (like, when listening to music - listen and appreciate it almost exclusively when I can 'hear' that someone is "singing with his/her instrument"..so to speak.). Anyway - that isn't ALL I listen for. I also really do appreciate composition and 'sound-engineering' as well. And well, these guys - they're really something else! An absolute masterpiece, IMHO! (How they even manage to get their many disparate, sometimes even dissonant sounds to fit in their composition - not to mention the engineering of their over-all sound...It is like they are not from this earth!?) Mindblowing is what it is. It's my preferred 'band-of-choice' whenever I have consumed hallucinogens or entheogens - then they really do open "The Doors of Perception". (Both the name for one of their records, which in turn was named of the classic by Aldous Huxley - cannot recommend them both highly enough. A great read, especially now during the so called 'psychedelic renaissance'...a coin I believe was phrased in another great book, "How to change your mind" by Michael Pollock. I do not however mean to advice the use of drugs. Still, hallucinogens ARE in a completely different 'category' than most other drugs, prescribed or illicit - they are not in any way addictive, for a starter. But also, these 'class' of drugs isn't your typical 'recreational drug'. At all! If, or when considering taking it, you better be prepared, be in a place where you are and feel 'safe' and have a clear 'motive' of why you're taking it! Psychedelics are surely to be duly respected, especially since they do not always produce the experience that you want - but rather, what you NEED! is the best 'tool', or crutch for creating better mental health, 'finding' yourself or any spiritual endeavors you might have...And by that neither am I suggesting it's some sort of 'magic pill'. YOU, yourself is still the one who need to do whatever 'work' needs to be done - but it might very well give you an idea of WHAT it is that needs to be 'done', or changed. As I said earlier - it is a fantastic tool/crutch. But as they say in Buddhism - "The mind is a terrible master, but a fantastic servant"...your goal is surely not to learn how to walk with a cane - but without one!?). Well, enough disclaimer. You who get it, gets it - and you who don't, won't. (As usual..when come to think of it! ;-) )

You are standing on the shoulders of Giants. Look up Terence McKenna. Psychonauts who can "bring it back" and talk about it in a meaningful manner read all kinds of books and value education.
