Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life beause I invested early ahead this time .

We must consider safer investments with promising returns in order to plan for the future. If you approach investing with a five-year perspective and simply DCA whenever you receive a check. Under the direction of my investment advisor, "Deborah Jean Dykstra", whose expertise in portfolio diversification is unsurpassed and client-focused, my portfolio has gained almost $643k since January 2022.

Very true. With the help of an investment advisor, I was able to diversify my $550K portfolio across multiple markets, and in just a few months, I was able to earn over $950K in net profit from high dividend yielding stocks, ETFs, and bonds.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.;;;

@alihindustani33748 ай бұрын
@@srivastav3684 it is in fact very low. One can get a relatively better CTC in India working in IT. This is purely from a savings and purchasing power parity perspective and am not taking into consideration the quality of life and all that benefit a life in Germany gives. There never was a lot of money in European job market. The capitalist countries pay better.

Nice video, Shraddha. I am sure it will come in handy to many professional migrants. Kudos! About comparing Germany to the US, I moved to the US from Germany early this year (-after haven lived in Germany for 7 years) and I can tell you the salary in Germany is really low after the deductions as compared to the US. This is due to the socialist structure of the economy in Germany where the medical liabilities are equally distributed among the whole population. If you are a comparatively healthy individual without chronic illness, you are giving in to this system than really benefiting. In the US, the insurance is cheap but deductibles are high. So you pay when you visit a doctor till you reach the deductible and then the insurance pays. And considering a normal healthy person you save a lot there. Plus, the salary is much higher in the US for a similar position, hence, more savings in retrospect. (-you can tax free contribute to pension as well -401K). Lets face it, we all migrated out of our countries for better opportunity (-better salary). About work-life balance, I think it is to one self. I still go for my weekend sports and have a very similar lifestyle to what I had when in the Germany. Plus, language is not an issue and no compulsion to "Germanize" to socially fit in. Just an honest token from self-experience. :)

This is an important point. Which job sector you were in that made the switch to Germany and then to US possible
@wora11112 жыл бұрын
I loved those words: "If you are only interested in money, go to the USA. If you want to enjoy our life, come to Germany". It is hard for foreigners to get a job in Germany while staying a foreigner. I live in a medium sized village and see lots of people around here that obviously are of African or Asian descent somewhere along the line. Usually they have family and everybody does speak German fluently. Just like my friends that moved to Delhi and learned Hindi (did I spell that correctly?).

What about life after retirement and Purchasing Power Parity data which tells India - housing, grocery all is much affordable? What is the plan of retirement in Germany for the immigrants/ expats?
@wora1111 Жыл бұрын
@@docindia-b5i Very good question. The social system in Germany assumes you lived and did your contribution in Germany for most of your working life in Germany. Usually that amounts to something like 40-45 years with additional rules for school time or raising children. If you did so you will get the same pensions like every other local. Similar rules apply for Healthcare.
@docindia-b5i Жыл бұрын
@@wora1111 Thanks for reply. If one enters system at say age of 50 or say at 35 years, then earns average salary and retires at 70 - this means collecting 25 to max 35 points of basic pension points. This will make only 600 - 900 Euro pension per month. This means that such an immigrant has to save and do something else ( Some more pension / buy home/ get stocks) to survive. I want to know the planning immigrants do for the same. Because otherwise the Salary and taxation system stays quite constant a lot in Germany.
@wora1111 Жыл бұрын
@@docindia-b5i You already obviously understand the system. The pension system was designed ata time (after WW2), when it was more or less impossible to have sufficient funds for retirement (because everything was destroyed in WW2). So it was decided, that the young people would fund the elder with their contribution to the social system. Those were the years of the baby boom, so things worked out just fine. Then Germany needed lots of foreign workers ('Gastarbeiter' = guest workers) which were assumed to come here for a few years, work and go back to their families abroad, so Germany would not have to pay for their retirement. That did not work out and many German current politicians are the children of those 'guest workers'. So now they try to preferably hire from abroad young people who will stay here for the long run and set up a family here and pay for older ones (like me). If you are older (say 40+) in most cases it is not such a good idea to move here permanently because although you contribute your part, you can profit less (because of the shorter time you spent/contributed here). BTW: 'Retiring at 70' is not really a thing. Most companies will automatically terminate your contract once to reach the 'retirement age' which is currently at 67 years but steadily moving outward. I was retired when I turned 65 (working in Switzerland at that time). Now I am self employed, which changes a lot of things though.

Salaries are not confidential, you wont find any regulation where you are forbidden to say your salary. My salary as a Nurse in Germany is around 2500 € after taxes per month. Some earn more some less. So anybody saying you it is confidential to tell the salary, is just tryin to copy the German culture. Im not German so im not gonna lie about salaries.

If you work in Germany you will notice that many colleagues will work in the same company for ten or more years, acquiring a lot of knowledge about the company, their products and their customers. There are customers I have been working with for more than twenty years. And I would probably never hire a person that already knows it will leave the job again after 5 years. Even with women I would expect them back in office when their kids grow up. Or work from home where possible. And as an employer I would expect you to prove to me that you are willing to learn the local language. I always do application meetings in German until I am convinced of that.

Where there is a higher salary there usually also is a higher cost of living (like rent). Better look at the difference between cost of living and your possible income. Often that will lead you to the smaller places.
