Tom, you are the best guitar instructor I've run across on KZbin. I've been playing a long time and have been repeating the same mistakes over and over. After just watching a few of your videos I was able to see and finally understand some of my issues. I can't wait to go through more. Thanks for providing a no nonsense approach for improving guitar.

Good explanation. I never thought of it as a certain feeling before. I remember learning technical difficulties by Paul Gilbert. I struggled to play it up to speed, until one day I could feel how it was supposed to be played. I went from only being able to play at half speed, to being able to play it faster than the original.

I love the sound of this and it sounds really aggressive due to the "break in the pattern" that you described in a previous video on soloing. Great stuff!

How do you know if you're playing too fast and need to practice it slower? I find it hard to build up speed past a certain point.
