U missed the point. He’s saying that Lamar should be the MVP based on the quality of play. But they talk about Josh Allen winning the MCP more than Lamar. RC is saying Lamar should play well in this game to confirm what he already believes - Lamar is the MVP

You missed it, but Ryan is also contradicting himself. 1. He is saying that amongst the three “great” QBs talked about the most- Mahomes, Lamar and Allen… Allen is the only one that has not won an MVP. He saying the media seems to be pushing Allen above Lamar for that reason. (*I don’t know how you can classify Allen as “great” when he has not accomplished anything to date. But that is for another time). 2. I say he contradicts himself to your main point- You (meaning Clarke) can’t say “Make no mistake, Lamar is playing THEE BEST at the position right now” and at the same time say “this is a prove it game”. The dialog should not be around Lamar having to prove anything. Because he is already proving it with his consistent play. All of the pressure to “prove it” SHOULD BE on Josh Allen. But it isn’t being discussed that way.

U mis-interpreted what was said. He said “the narrative that is being built…” is that Josh is better than LJ8 becuz Josh is 9-2 and LJ8 is 8-4. Forget they trashed the Bills, forget he has the better stats, they are trying to say records matter. They are also saying the King is making his stats better. (BS) no one says anything about Chase/Higgins w/Burrow or when Josh had Diggs, Purdy had the trio.

It may be voter fatigue. But when it comes to Lamar. They don’t want to admit that’s he’s that good at playing Quarterback because then they all have to admit they were wrong about what he was and is at the position from day one. In college he ran a spread pro style offense and was an accurate passer. But when it comes to being a great runner and Quarterback those kinds of players are immediately labeled as a runner first
