Do you think these would be some good trails for someone with very little mountain biking experience?

Yes it's pretty modest. The beginning has a good climb then decent and the second half is relatively flat. There are some tight tree gates though. Rowlett creek is the most novice park in town. So maybe start there if you're super worried about it being beginner friendly.

It's a shame this is my local trail. Maybe five minutes away. I grew up riding mammoth, temecula and big bear. On a good note. My 8 year old gets to have fun on this trail.

Lol it was challenging at the time. I've graduated to harder trails now but it was still fun!

It's a shake the city killed this trail and doesn't seem to care. When I was assistant trail steward we offered so many times and had offers from the mineral company to expand the trail and get it more away from the housing development yet they refused to allow it. Always had high hopes for this trail.
