that thing is sick guys and kevin is killing it!!! and it sounds so good and the way the headers follow the fenders shows the attention to detail and a real craftsmanship going in to it. cant wait to see it finished and rippin. cant forget that the last 10% of a project takes 90% of the time but your close now keep up the grind and dont sweat the updates plenty of time for that when it's done.

I was kind of wondering if this project was actually gonna happen but it's crazy what you guys have built! I'm really interested to see how much this catches on so that there can be parts for it instead of a lot of one off custom components that are gonna be hard to maintain a supply of w/o some mondo backing. That's gonna be one crazy looking car going across the desert at a good clip!!

Cool. Looks like you will need to keep damage control on the front to a minimum. Do you trust the durability of 3d printed plastic? I'm leary of it still. I would surely have spares of that close at hand. Lookin sweeeet dude.
@jasongedney49113 жыл бұрын
3d prints can be finicky if you don't use the correct material/filaments. They can be setup to print plastics with carbon fiber strands as well as nylons. I'm in the tedious process of converting a desktop 3d printer to run these types of materials, which require higher temp extruders, temp sensors, enclosures, ventilation and some program adjustments. There are some capable of CNC operations as well. I believe that durability isn't an issue, but id personally make the 3d print for testing then send it out to have an aluminum piece replicated.
