It was a blast, skated Burnside, met lots of rad locals, visited all the local shops (shoutout Cals & Shrunken Heads), ate wayyyy to many Voodoo doughnuts, and camped out in Damascus (shoutout Bow & Arrow Coffee). Well if you can take the heat you can skate 365 days a year pretty much, and then during winter within 2-2.5 hours there’s two ski joints(3 total), I grew up in Cali boarding Mammoth, Tahoe, etc., but this Mtn here called Sunrise is a hidden gem, surprisingly big and it gets deep too
