I never thought about this, but Prince Charming has said twice that he rode threw the freezing mountains and the scorching hot desert to rescue Fiona, but we only hear him narrate the first time and then repeat that information the second time. There's no actual proof he actually went trough all of that. He probably said she was gone when he got to the castle because they knew Fiona got married with Shrek and in that way knew she wasn't in the castle. He didn't have to go to castle in person to check himself. In the fourth Shrek movie, Fiona was never rescued and she had to rescue herself. Where was Prince Charming? The fourth movie didn't say anything happened to Prince Charming so he should've been perfectly able to rescue Fiona, but didn't. Makes me think he was late because he was lazy and since he's a mommy's boy, he was allowed to do whatever he wanted, well past the due date to rescue Fiona. Or maybe I was a little slow and should've caught on to it earlier. I dunno.

20:30 About toads and frogs! It's basically all toads are frogs but not all frogs are toads sort of thing. They're under the bufonidae famliy (different species are under different families. Example: poison dart frogs are in the dendrobatidae family.) Toads differ from frogs for their dryer skin, and all of them produce this poisonous secretion that defends them from predators, unless said predator is able to eat it without getting poisoned (The hognose snake for example is one predator who can and regularly eats toads so they themselves will not get eaten). For the King in this movie though, he's a frog mainly cause he's just based after the Frog Prince story. It's hard to say exactly what kind of species he is but y'know, it's a fictional movie.

Sherk 2 was one of my most favorite movies growing up. I watched it so many times. Big step up from the 1st Sherk. Love how is goes against the typical stereo-types of fairytales; the 'bad guys' are actually good and the 'good guys' are really selfish, power hungry, manipulators. 'I Need a Hero' was the most epic scene. The 'Pinocchio in a thong' scene cracked me up. And I loved the intro of Puss in Boots.

For my knowledge about food: in generic past days you washed your hands after every course at meal if you were with rich people, because they can afford what a peasants couldn't: a banquet, so more food to eat with less (or totally different, they can vary also on geographical areas) items that we use today when go to the dinner table. Some of rich people also used water with roses petals or other flowers. The forks were spread around with a bit of difficulty sometimes.
