I was in Shrek the Musical two years ago, and I played the Shoemaker’s Elf, a Duloc Dancer, and a Tap Dancing Rat. It’s one of my favorite shows I’ve been in. Though What’s Up Duloc and I’m a Believer knocked the breath out of me every night, lol. Also, fun fact, for the protest scene at Farquaad’s wedding, I originally had a sign that said “Elf Lives Matter.” However, a week or two before we opened, the events at Charlottesville happened, so we changed my sign to say “Elf Pride.” Also, when Shrek and Donkey entered after What’s Up Duloc, Donkey was wetting a t-shirt saying “Make Duloc Great Again” and it had the audience DEAD every night.
