An E-bike stored indoors? Don't they burn down buildings when the batteries overheat? I seem to remember reading about it happening in NYC many times.

Your wiring and control cable is wrapped around the wrong side of the bike. Remove the stem and pass it under the frame and remount it. It'll look more clean and be out of your way.
